Schumer’s Dems see silver lining in midterm losses
Politico ^ | 11/10/18 | ELANA SCHOR, BURGESS EVERETT

Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats aren’t changing course, despite all those second-guessing them.

Their vulnerable incumbents were free to ignore liberal orthodoxy over the past two years, but at least three red-state Democrats still went down hard in the midterms. And as 2020 looms, the party faces a steep challenge in clawing back to the Senate majority.

But Democrats are finding only a bright side in Tuesday’s results, and are showing no sign of shifting strategies to try to shore up their performance in states President Donald Trump carried. In fact, they took heart in a GOP that’s “sliding in the suburbs,” as Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) put it to reporters in his home state on Friday.

“Having a Democratic House puts our caucus in a much better position when it comes to both holding the president accountable and getting things done,” Schumer told POLITICO in a statement.

Dear Chuck:

Pen

Phone

and if Romney doesn’t screw us totally given that Nelson is coming back, a judiciary that will see an executive order can be overturned by an executive order.

What losses? Dems took back the house, took Heller’s seat, and are in the process of stealing AZ and FL senate seats. I’d say it’s been a pretty damn good election win for ol’ Chuckie-Schmucky and Piglosi.

Don’t you believe in freedom of speech? Is FRep supposed to be an echo chamber where everyone speaks and thinks in lockstep? Are we not free to “clutch our pearls” without being “monitored?” Is monitoring censorship? Isn’t monitoring supposed to be for bad language, harassment, etc.?

We are being “Rick-rolled” being told that the Rats had a bad Midterm. When all is said and done with the cheating, the GOP will have been punched with a blue glove. 2020 is not a lock.
