The authoritarianism and tyranny of the Left, along with its disdain for Western religion, is on display again, this time in Minnesota where a pair of Christian filmmakers are being threatened by state officials with incarceration if they refuse to make films featuring gays and lesbians.
As reported by CBN News, Carl and Angel Larson, owners of Telescope Media Group, appeared before the federal 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Paul, Minn., last week to challenge a state law they say unconstitutionally forces them to produce content that contradicts their core religious beliefs.
The couple, which is being represented by the Alliance Defending Freedom legal group, said they have already been threatened by state officials with large fines and up to three months in jail if they refuse to comply.
As CBN News notes further:
The Larsens want to enter the wedding industry. However, the state’s Human Rights Act stipulates that if the couple creates films celebrating their Christian beliefs about marriage – that marriage is between one man and one woman – they must also create films about marriage that violate their beliefs, including films promoting same-sex marriages.

Actually, I don’t think we have one of those in GA. But I agree they’re a problem where they exist. And ask Mark Steyn about his encounters, you’d get an earful.

Would the same arguments be used against Islamic filmmakers, if they refused to include gay/transgender roles in their film productions?
I think not. The question would not even be raised.
Islam just kills gays/transgenders. Ethnic cleansing, doncha know.
Minnesota has become a hotbed of Islamic subversion.

But it's not just moslems. Black Fundamentalist Protestants, Hispanic sixteenth century inquisitionist folk-Catholics, and even the quaint and exotic eastern and oriental chrstians communities will all be exempt, because the Left already considers them "transgressive" as they are. No need to be "gay" if you're already Ethiopian, right? That's quite rebellious enough on its own!
Leftism is simply Rightism inverted. The KKK considers whiteness wholesome and Blackness transgressive; the Left agrees and simply roots for the other side. Leftists are really little more than inverted "rednecks." The whole point is that everything opposed by the majority (even things that logically should not be allied with each other) is to be celebrated.
This of course applies only to the "western" Left. The non-western Left is nationalist and socially conservative because it isn't based on an inversion of normalcy. But Leftist hippies still support it to tick the "rednecks" off.
The ultimate goal: make all churches do gay weddings or be shut down.
Some states have become fascist dictatorships. They all are becoming it, a little at a time.

Don’t underestimate the Fascism of Kagan and Ginsburg. Remember, they did NOT think that the Colorado “Civil Rights” Commission showed animus towards Jack Philips’

Ginsburg was in the minority that wanted to force the Boy Scouts to accept homosexuals in 2000.
Wrong, that is not the ultimate goal, though they do want to shut all churches down.
Obviously, you have seen NOTHING coming out of the TV & Movie industry these days. Sit down and watch an evening's worth of TV commercials and make note of how many are pushing 'progressive' issues. Note the demographics of the actors. Note the ambiguity of the 'relationships'.
At first glance, I had assumed that the filmmakers were videographers who wanted to start filming weddings, and that the state was arguing that if you want to be in that business, you have to be willing to film all weddings. This sounds, however, like their services go much further. They seem clearly to be providing creative content.
They should go ahead and make gay films where the gays get saved and turn from their wicked ways.
