So, how many Dims will crowd into that clown car to run against PDJT? He beat out 15 in his run in 2016 but it looks like the Donkey Party might well exceed that number.

Brown is on public record as an abuser. He is a diversion.

The question is who would need a family abuser to run interference for them. I would guess someone with slightly less egregious offenses that would look good in comparison to Brown’s.

Beto’s hit and run, dui, etc?

In ads and interviews during the campaign, Brown repeatedly stated he had no interest in the presidency.
He hasn’t even started his new term and he’s running for the office. Typical rat.

I personally don’t think that a “straight white male” could get the Democratic nomination at this point, even “Beto”, but I could be wrong.

But will Brown vote for the Trump agenda or will he vote with the dems?

“Unless he comes up with a message and campaign that has nationwide appeal, I don’t think Brown will be able to position himself for a run that requires a broader appeal than just the fringe left.”

Brown isn’t known outside Ohio. The mainstream media, which most independents depend on for news, will define him the way he chooses to position himself, likely as a bipartisan moderate.

In 2020 at least one of the two candidates at the top of the GOP ticket will be a minority. Getting a larger than normal black vote turnout has the potential to swing Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, and Ohio to the Democrat side and win the election. It worked in 2008 and 2012 and the demographic trends are even more favorable in 2020. It is not hard to envision Hillary or Elizabeth Warren at the top of the ticket with Cory Booker, Deval Patrick or Kamala Harris as number two. If Oprah or Michelle Obama chooses to run there will be black female at the top of the ticket. In that event the Brown might have a shot at the VP slot to ensure Ohio goes Dem. Bento will likely not make the final cut because he did not prove an ability to swing the Texas vote into the Democrat column in 2018. Brown is more likely to lock up Ohio than Bento is to lock up Texas. The Dems ticket in 2020 will be constructed to win, not to allow egos to play.

I wonder if most of these... what is it, about a thousand, so far?... Democrats that want to run for President in 2020 actually have such Delusions of Grandeur that they think they actually have a snowball’s chance in Hades of winning;

Or have they merely figured out how much money they can stuff in their own pockets from the suckers that donate to their campaigns?

The Bolsheviks win because they cheat, and that is the primary reason they win. Will Pres. Trump do anything about it? So far, it appears not, except for a few arrests here and there for a little of the small stuff.

Per Wikipedia, Sherrod Brown worked for two years as a Ohio State branch college teacher, and has been a politician since. No executive experience (Ohio Secretary of State doesn’t count), no wealth creation, no private sector job ever — just legislative time-serving and a life spent on the public dole. If he thinks he has what it takes to be Chief Executive and Commander in Chief, he is delusional.
