SEOUL - South Korean officials on Thursday began to dismantle the country's largest canine slaughterhouse complex, as animal rights activists push to end the custom of eating dog meat.

When I was at Osan, one of my troops lived downtown....his Korean neighbors had a Saint Bernard chained up and fattened him with rice....then they had their family reunion and “Cujo” was no more.....

To: Does so

Way back decades ago, I enjoyed dinner at El Tio’s.
We were seated outdoors where we watched a chef look after a full rib cage of goat that was rotating over a wood fire pit.

Two young men appeared from the kitchen and lifted the ribs over to a stainless steel band saw where two rib chunks were sawed off and placed on dinner plates.

I can still hear the band saw zipping through the ribs...

That's disgusting. Who would eat cat? They carry disease.

Italians used to eat cat. Sort of fell out of favor after WWII when not-cat "food" was readily available.

I think cat meat/eating thereof, is illegal in Italy now.
