It’s bad enough when somebody who contributed nothing to an event or an achievement attempts to take the credit for it. It takes a whole other level of shameless hubris and vanity to take credit for something that you did your utmost to prevent.

This just doesn’t make sense from any angle.
(1) Let’s say he really did help with the oil boom. That would offend the leftscum, who are against oil.
(2) We know he didn’t, so it doesn’t help with Trump supporters.
(3) Anyone in the middle to some extent falls in either of the above categories — or both. No help there.
It’s just got to be “SEE ME!” ego at play. Pathetic.

The truth is that neither President had much to do with it. This was strictly a private enterprise thing, a bunch of wildcatters trying to figure out how to save a dying business with the imminent depletion of conventional wells.
Trump’s deregulation helped, but it was very late in the game after everything had already been developed.

Obunghole is but one SOB but the problem are the millions who believe everything he says. 60 million+ plus Obamabots (per his election numbers) is quite scary.
