Why not Lt. Col. Allen West for the next Secretary of Defense? He's old-school, no-nonsense, and if President Donald Trump nominates a black conservative to lead the U.S. armed forces, the Left will go in violence mode, don't you think?

I do not think West supports the planned pullout from Syria and Afghanistan. He may not be a good fit without a number of active wars.

Allen West is AGAINST ending US involvement in the civil war in Syria. Not a good fit with Trump’s vision of US military expenditures in the middle-east.
