My feelings towards Ruth are probably pretty similar to her feelings towards the United States Constitution.
As far as equating being wrong and evil, no I do not do that. However I saw two people last night who definitely bridge the gap between wrong and evil. Along with a woman that nearly became our president. Those three are indeed evil and should be treated as such.
In another post it was suggested that both sides of the aisle often equate being wrong with being evil.
I’d like to pose this question, is it simply wrong when someone wants to dominate and rule you? Who wants to take away your god-given rights and freedoms because they want to have power over you?
At what point do you decide that they have crossed over from simply being well-meaning and wrong to malevolent and despotic? And is malevolence and despotism evil? I have to think it often is.

I’ve always have trouble with the “love your enemies” commandment. You did it well.
Know this: our protestations and manifestations of our love for them are as burning coals on their head.

On the contrary, "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in so doing, you will heap burning coals on his head."
I pray she gets what she deserves for the damage she has done.
Well and good.
And when your enemy is waging war on you and actively trying to destroy you, does the Bible say it’s okay to put a knife in their belly?
That is not a snide or sarcastic retort it is a sincere question.
I love her after she is on a slab.

Neither Jesus nor any of the Apostles asked or told soldiers to give up their profession, for example.
Well then I submit to you, that she is making it clear she’s going to continue to wage war on us up until her last breath. In my mind that entitles her to nothing from me, because she has said by her actions that she is an active combatant until the end.
My prayer is that she learns to love God, repents her sins, and is saved.
Do you see anything wrong with that?
I pray for her regularly - that she will repent, or that she gets to see Jesus VERY soon. I’d be happy either way.

If David can pray that God breaks the teeth of the wicked, why can’t I? Although I’d LOVE it if she converted instead.
I like to point out that when Jesus gave his admonition for the apostles to obtain swords (for he was going away soon), the disciples actually had 2 swords in their possession. Leaves the “pacifists” speechless...
God is in charge. It is fine to ask God for help. I do so all the time.
I work at being careful not to order the Lord about.
He may break my enemies teeth, but that is his choice.
God understands our needs. May his will be done.
Jesus gave an order...who says anything about “ordering Him about”?
