Will Hurd’s Texas 23 District traverses about 1/3rd of our border with Mexico. Unless we want a Democrat to be elected there next time, he has no choice.

His best play was not negotiating prior to the mid terms and not having republicans in the negotiations. This forces the focus on the Dem leaders against Trump. The Dems and the MSM can’t throw the light on McConnel and Ryan. It’s all Chucky and Nancy vs. Trump. Brilliant.

As Rush has said, the media didn’t make Trump, so they have no leverage over him. They didn’t make him. So they can’t break him.
