That happened to me, too. I was out by my barn working.
So I drove up the hill to where we have a big sand and gravel pit, found a couple of guys shooting, and proceeded to tear them a new one. In my anger, I didn’t even think that they had rifles and I didn’t have any firearm.
Lucky for me they were sorrowful and quite contrite. I told them they needed to shoot at the 30 foot sand bank, not over the trees and down the hill were people lived.
Sweet home, Alabama!
Where even dumb rednecks will listen to reason.
Southerners.....we still seem to have the market cornered on manners. :^)
Had a gun pulled on me in Mexico, but at that time, I didn’t care and just walked away from the guy. Also was in a real-life car chase with someone who may have been armed. Nerve-racking, but managed to fake being armed myself (which bought me enough distance to shake him off).
At one of the houses the guy set up a target out in the field without any back stop and started shooting away. Bullets were whizzing around us so we took a couple of shots with our shotguns hoping he would hear that we were out there but he didn't and kept shooting.
We got the heck out of there and stopped by his house to let him know how stupid he was.....
It depends on the nature of the wound. In my case, it felt like someone had positioned their fist inches away from me, the delivered a powerful punch. There was no burning or feeling of wetness. Rather, it was a dull, but strong ache that persisted.
“Hopefully, being shot by a smaller caliber has helped me build my immunity up towards larger bullets.”
HUH?
I'll take a bullet over watching Hillary, Bernie, or some other big government socialist take power in our country.
I was once in a hotel attacked by suicide terrorists. A bullet missed my head by a foot.........thats as close as I wanna ever get to getting shot at. (I knew exactly how close it was because of the holes in the low-hanging lampshade.)
Glade your ok my friend. Mind sharing what hotel that was?....I’d like to avoid it. :)
Ah...but to where exactly?
If this current slide into socialism goes farther than it should, I'll just opt to take one in the squash and have it over with.
Shot at and missed with .22. Sounded like a bee buzzing by my head. Horse never seemed to notice a thing. never saw the shooter.
mine was in the leg. felt my leg all wet and warm first. then i felt the burn.
Shot at: several times, mostly by security guards while in my “young n dumb” days. Shot: once, by my brother (negligent discharge that hit the concrete floor and splashed lead striking me in the leg).
Most likely an entire COUNTRY you’d like to avoid: Serena Hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Noted. I assume you were not there vacationing so whatever the circumstances I appreciate you being there.
Dont like anti-gun social-media CENSORS? Me neither! Go to the Facebook and Disqus forbidden website https://www.codeisfreespeech.com/
and download for FREE all 10 printable gun blueprints, then spread the word to your friends. I did!
Shot at? All I need to do is step out my back door at midnight on New years eve in my hood.
Angry bees everywhere.
Shot at? Rifle fire sounds like fence wire being whipped in the air. A high-pitched “whish”. Thankfully, I’ve never been shot. I gladly take others’ words for it.

Probably a Motel 6 on MLK Boulevard. No Glade Air Fresheners in the Room either.
