THE ULTIMATE REDNECK FISHING TRIP! Deep Sea Fishing for Dummies [Sailing Zatara]
Sailing Zatara Channel on Youtube ^ | Jan 3, 2019 | Renee & the Z-Crew

Episode 64, from the Youtube channel of an American family who sold the McMansion in the Dallas suburbs, bought a sailboat, and headed out for an adventure of a lifetime!

This episode finds them fishing off the coast of Northwest Africa, near the Canaries, just prior to crossing the Atlantic for the Caribbean, and from there back to America in time for the Miami Boat Show.

It's pretty funny and the dad, Keith, philosophizes some toward the end of the video. I think many Freepers will be heartened and inspired by his talk.

LOL! Pretty sure that got edited out. ;)

Their current location: http://www.forecast.predictwind.com/tracking/display/Zatara, just off the coast of Florida, near Ft. Lauderdale, for those interested.

The boat they have now was purchased in Greece. They are bringing it to America themselves!

Apologies if I confused anyone by not providing a direct link to episode 64: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoD1W96owQw

We watch this family every week. We subscribe to their channel, and thumbs up about every episode. A couple of them he did something really stupid, but recovered.

I have some friends I’ve told about this youtube channel as well as Delos, and Uma.

Thanks for commenting. I didn't see any posts on FR about them, so I posted thinking others might enjoy their adventures as well.

I've only seen a few episodes. Intend to start from the beginning and watch them all over time. Always dreamed of doing something similar, but haven't so far. ;)

We have seen every episode of Zatara, and as I stated we subscribe, and the “Z-Crew” (I’m certain is mom Renee) notifies us via email when a new episode has been posted.

Great show. We enjoy the kids, and the family life at sea. They are lots of fun.

Here's the first page of episode links, half-assed sorted, more there, I just can't view them on this 20 year old box.
