One thing that I do to avoid headings that turn out looking like this is to copy and past heavily formatted text into notepad and then copy from notepad to Free Republic's posing form.

I would like to have one but in the Piney Woods of NW Florida it would be almost useless.

What does that mean exactly?

Yeah, what does it mean?

It means it's about average for 'Am Shooting Journal'.

You could shoot on the beach.....might scare families

St Joe paper would have to have some long pipeline reaches I’d think

But yes it ain’t Nevada

Same thing middle tennnesse unless you shoot down across a valley from a ridgetop

Better have a four wheeler handy to run back and forth to check MOA around here

I never spent any time in Middle Tennessee. I did once date a girl who attended Union University. I was going to visit her but she transferred to Mississippi State for her last two years so I ended up going to Starkeville instead.

Daddy’s first cousin was on the Sunday School Board in Nashville. They returned to NW Fl. after retirement then back to Nashville, actually Franklin, for their last few years due to having 3 kids there.

They said Nashville had really gone down.

This has happened to me a lot cutting and pasting from various sources. My reaction is usually something like this.

thats funny

They must not have been here in a while

Nashville is right now the biggest boomtown I’ve ever witnessed

We’ve led the tower crane count for around three years now

I live outside of Franklin a few miles south

Somewhat rural

Williamson county is the richest county cost of living adjusted in the country

Nashville has lowest black metro population of any major city in the south

So it escapes mostly the problems that brings although like the murder last week of that musician it does happen

The ghetto is shrinking here

How is the snow/winter in central Tennessee?

I've been looking around in the eastern side, near Cleveland.

But I am looking blind and long distance. Hope to make a trip
to the area in the semi near future to get a better feel before making a move.

Got to get around some like minded folks for retirement.

To my understanding it's a Chinese contracted optic that costs as much or more than a similar American made optic.
I have an issue with that.

That said, there's a lot of guys who really like them. I have one of their reflex sights on a 22/45 Lite and it's made shooting a 22 handgun fun again with my old eyes. I already had a Burris and the Leupold was more than I could afford at the time. d:^)

Snow in the line above interstate 40 is common every year especially near the Kentucky line

Snow below interstate 40 happens most years but with about one third the frequency and intensity

At altitude of 2000 foot or better on the Cumberland plateau or the Appalachian you get a lot more snow

The higher the more essentially

Even in Nashville the hilltops may get inches and down low only a dusting

We had a home at 4800 elevation at Hound Ears North Carolina and the snow there was like interior Maine

Cold as hell and a lot of snow

Grandfather mountain some seasons had 9-10 feet

But most of Tennessee gets not much snow...average for Nashville is 8 inches but it’s contrasted tween several snows a year versus years with just a couple dustings

One thing middle tennessee gets is rain

Rain rain rain rain rain

It’s been overcast of rain 83 of last 110 days..

We’ve had 11 days straight of rain in November

Far rainier than Birmingham or Atlanta

Ask any roofer or car wash owner

I’m sick of it
