So, politicians not wearing the iconic flag pins can be excused because the average citizen doesn’t? Just like Obama and Mooochelle could be excused for not honoring the flag because their base hates what it stands for?

I saw Nixon when I was about 9 years old at Senator Allen Ellender’s funeral. Ellender’s was my cousin. Nixon smiled at me, and gave me a double V. I met G. Jordan Liddie years later, and he told me that Nixon’s biggest mistake was his loyalty to his friends. Nixon’s mistake was trying to protect his friends after Watergate.
