Trump’s Kill Shot on Beto is Already Yielding Results

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The shallowest man on the planet. – Over the weekend, Irish Bob O’Rourke compared bureaucrats at the EPA who write climate-related regulations to the thousands of incredibly brave American soldiers who landed on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. I knew a couple of those men in my younger days, and I’m frankly glad they are no longer around to witness such abject nonsense emerging from the mouth of a candidate for the U.S. presidency.

Absolutely disgraceful.

Irish Bob also had to issue his first apology to the social media outrage mob on Sunday, not something we’d have expected to see from the guy who last fall was the idol of the college campus set. The intrepid Irishman’s sin was … wait for it… oh, you have to wait for this one… GIVING HIS WIFE MOST OF THE CREDIT FOR RAISING THEIR CHILDREN!

I kid you not, the outrage mob decided Irish Bob had to genuflect before them in supplication after he credited his wife Amy with raising their children “sometimes with my help.” This simple expression of gratitude to his wife for taking up the slack during the many times he’s been away from home due to his political career created such a high level of outrage on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram that the fidgety ex-congressman felt the need to say the following:

“Not only will I not say that again, but I’ll be more thoughtful going forward in the way that I talk about our marriage,” and “My ham-handed attempt to try to highlight the fact that Amy has the lion’s share of the burden in our family — that she actually works but is the primary parent in our family, especially when I served in Congress, especially when I was on the campaign trail — should have also been a moment for me to acknowledge that that is far too often the case, not just in politics, but just in life in general. I hope as I have been in some instances part of the problem, I can also be part of the solution.”

Breathtaking. You seriously cannot make this stuff up.

But here’s the funniest part of the whole incident: He said all of that with his normally-flailing arms held rigidly at his sides. Watch this clip:

The Hill ✔ @thehill While campaigning in Waterloo, IA, Beto O'Rourke explained why he'll stop joking on the campaign trail that his wife has been raising their children "sometimes with my help." http://hill.cm/3bfEHt6

77 10:45 PM - Mar 16, 2019 152 people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy Once again, a Donald Trump kill shot has had a major impact on one of his opponents. In case you missed it, after Irish Bob had formally announced his campaign in a frenetic, hyperactive speech during which his arms were flailing all over the damn place, President Trump gave the speech this hilarious review during a White House press availability:

“Well, I think he’s got a lot of hand movement. I’ve never seen so much hand movement. I said, ‘Is he crazy or is that just the way he acts?'” Trump said at the White House. “I watched him a little while this morning, during I assume it was some kind of a news conference, and I’ve actually never seen anything quite like it.”

Just three days later, Irish Bob’s arms appear to be welded to his sides.

Coincidence? Not hardly. This is classic Trump, doing to O’Rourke what he did to Jeb! “Low Energy” Bush, Little Marco Rubio and “Pocahontas” Warren. Once the President issues one of these kill shots and they get repeated endlessly in social media and the fake news media, it becomes impossible for voters to see these people without having that image in the back of their minds.

Even worse for Trump’s opponents, being the subject of such a kill shot makes them so self-conscious and focused on proving him wrong that they end up doing incredibly stupid things, like Rubio going on a series of ballistic tirades during a debate and “Pocahontas” killing her career with that idiotic DNA test. And now he’s got Irish Bob so focused on keeping his arms and hands still that he appears to be doing an impersonation of a Civil War statue.

This just creates another huge problem for Irish Bob. All of his arm-waving and running around the stage and bobbing and weaving and jumping and skate-boarding and just general flailing about is a big, big part of his appeal where the college set is concerned. These are children who grew up with their eyes constantly welded to their I-Pad or I-Phone in a never-ending quest for an image or short video clip that will give them that next shot of dopamine. They have the attention span of the average squirrel and require constant visual stimulation in order to hold their focus.

To this point, O’Rourke has served as their own political version of YouTube. If he becomes just another rigid talking head and stop giving them their shots of dopamine, all these kids are just going to go back to streaming videos.

One thing’s for sure: Trump has already gotten into Irish Bob’s head, and it is showing.

That is all.

The problem though is that the legion of Beto backers may not be able to detect ridicule.

Donald Trump is one of a kind, and I mean that politically in a good way!

The dude was in a band. Probably somehow connected. Would be nice if someone had video of him in his band.

I suspect Bernie's going to get the nomination considering he's had free campaign ad coverage almost daily for the past two years and has the name recognition.

With all the candidates who have already thrown their hat into the ring and more likely to follow, Bernie could get the nomination with less than 20% of the total votes cast......

https://pjmedia.com/trending/beto-orourkes-gafftastic-day/

A clinical psychologist would have a field day with Beto’s online postings when he was a member of a culrish hacker group. One article he wrote as a teen mused how the world would work without money. After changing the system, including the government, O’Rourke foresaw the end of starvation and class distinctions.

“To achieve a money-less society (or have a society where money is heavily de-emphasized) a lot of things would have to change, including government as we know it. This is where the anti-money group and the disciples of Anarchy meet,” O’Rourke wrote under his pseudonym. “I fear we will always have a system of government, one way or another, so we would have to use other means other than totally toppling the government (I don’t think the masses would support such a radical move at this time).”

Another t-file from O’Rourke, written when he was 15, is a short and disturbing piece of fiction. “One day, as I was driving home from work, I noticed two children crossing the street. They were happy, happy to be free from their troubles…. This happiness was mine by right. I had earned it in my dreams.

“As I neared the young ones, I put all my weight on my right foot, keeping the accelerator pedal on the floor until I heard the crashing of the two children on the hood, and then the sharp cry of pain from one of the two. I was so fascinated for a moment, that when after I had stopped my vehicle, I just sat in a daze, sweet visions filling my head.”

A 15-year-old daydreaming about a “moneyless society” is pretty common. But “sweet visions filling my head” after running over a couple of “happy happy” kids with his car is definitely not common. I have to ask it: what do you think the reaction would have been if a Republican candidate had written that? Every amateur Democratic mental health professional would declare the candidate unfit for office.
But for Beto? His apology suffices:

“I’m mortified to read it now, incredibly embarrassed, but I have to take ownership of my words,” the Democratic presidential candidate said during a taping of the “Political Party Live” podcast in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

“Whatever my intention was as a teenager doesn’t matter, I have to look long and hard at my actions, at the language I have used, and I have to constantly try to do better.”

If only Republicans had it so easy.

(HAT TIP Chewbarkah) LET'S KEEP THESE THOUGHTS ON THE FRONT BURNER:
<><> Dems are teeing-up this nut Beto to get the idiotic youth vote
<><> Dems see the flailing Beto as Veep on a ticket with the steady, experienced Biden.
<><>The far left sees Beto's transvestitism, hacking, ID theft, perverse poetry, etc. as important qualifications.
<><>Mainstream D's will interpret sap-happy Beto fantasizing running over children as being ahead of the curve on post-natal abortion.
<><>Watch for Beto making blackface cool again...

THIS JUST IN---Reuters has now admitted to being part of the elect Irish Bob senate campaign.....
we will have to wait until the democrat primary before Reuters admits which democrat candidate they are now working for.

Politico Writer Labels Beto O'Rourke a 'Semigogue'
Newsbusters ^ | March 16, 2019 | P.J. Gladnick / FR Posted by PJ-Comix
At the very least, the Beto O'Rourke candidacy for president is certain to be the inspiration for a lot of humor. Abe Greenwald of Commentary magazine already labeled him as the Seinfeld candidate and that it is a "Campaign About Nothing, Not that there's anything wrong with that." No, nothing wrong with that as long as Beto doesn't turn into a demagogue. The good news is that Jack Shafer, the Politico senior media writer, assures us that is unlikely. The reason, Shafer asserted on Thursday, is that O'Rourke is probably what he calls a "semigogue" in "The Semigoguery of Beto O’Rourke." (Excerpt) Read more at newsbusters.org ...

=======================================
CONCLUSION He's a "semigogue" with clean teeth, a credit card fraudster,
a software pirate, a (gag) Poet, punk rocker, skateboarder, keeps his teeth clean, and hoists one too many.

Drunk driving mug shot................................... Punk rocker looking pretty in floral print dress. <

BETO SLAPPED DOWN after he told Vanity Fair he was “born” to run for president.
Lefties say he "reeks of white male privilege." more at breitbart.com .

He instagrammed this over the net.

His chief political asset (he thinks).......he looks like Robert Kennedy.

HE’S OUT OF WORK AND OWES BACK TAXES

Both O’Rourke and his wife Amy are independently wealthy.

Amy’s father, Bill Sanders, is areal estate giant with an estimated net worth of $500 million, according to Forbes.

Vanity Fair reported that O’Rourke’s mother gave him partial ownership over the furniture store she once owned, which closed in 2010 after it was fined for alleged tax fraud — a charge denied by both O’Rourke and his mother. The magazine said O’Rourke’s net worth is around $9 million.

The problem though is that the legion of Beto backers may not be able to detect ridicule.

Doesn't matter. As the article said, making Irish Bob stop flailing his arms is the true purpose of Trump's comment. The SJW Kiddies, needing visual stimulation to keep them interested, will turn away from the Irish Bob statue.

Trump is a master at spotting the most obvious things about a person or situation and pointing them out. Usually, to the great embarrassment of his opponents and enemies.

On another note, I just want to know why “Beto” isn’t being hammered by the chronically triggered for the cultural appropriation of his nickname?

Stupid article.

The DNA test did not in any way kill Psychojawea’s career.
It was a last ditch effort to salvage it. When the test came up negative for Cherokee ancestry she decided to try to spin it, and was laughed off of the stage.

Nevertheless, she took the test because her cultural appropriation had already sunk her, as O’Rourke’s will sink him.
