The question is, which candidate is likely to win the most votes in the Democratic primaries?
Why not Julian Castro? He’s an Hispanic American, and so are millions of Democratic voters in the delegate-rich states of California, New York, Texas, and Florida.
He’s intelligent and experienced — a graduate of Harvard and Stanford and former Director of Housing and Urban Development.
And he’s young — the perfect antidote to the two old white male codgers, Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, whom Democrats will soon tire of and be ready to send to the glue factory.
The more votes he receives, the more the Democrats’ usual group-identity politics will take over, and it will be Hispanics vs. Blacks vs. women, etc. Which means that the losing groups’ supporters will be angry and inclined to stay home for the general election.
Which will help not only Donald Trump but also many Republican Senators and Congresspeople win their elections.
The rumor this morning is that Biden is thinking of running with the fat Black woman who lost her race for governor of GA last year as his VP. So it appears President Trump will be blessed to run against a bunch of losers next year. It should be fun.

We don’t know who the Dem nominee will be. Someone, sooner or later, is going to give an “electrifying” speech to a bunch of howling Donks ala Bozo ala Mario the Pious and it’ll be on...
I saw about 15 seconds of Warren bloviating on a stage ... her voice drives me crazy for one, but I also imagine the strong smell of mothballs whenever I see her. She reminds me of an elderly aunt (now deceased, God bless her), who showed up for church every Sunday in her ‘best dress’ from which wafted the smell of mothballs, like an insidious perfume. Something about Warren reminds me of the aunt & her dress. She’s an old(er), screechy, preachy, lying white lady .... & definitely not as honest or nice as my aunt. I don’t see her having ANY appeal to anyone of color or under 50-60 years old, especially when there is another Socialist like the young AOC out there. It doesn’t matter AOC is too young to run for Prez, she still provides a contrast of young/’hip’ vs old/screechy/smells of moth balls.
A desperate Rat constituency will turn to the only answer - Hellary!
