There are three tightly related Steps for the US new policy toward Irans malicious manners to stop. First: Subsequent to the US designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-IRGC as a Foreign Terrorist Organization Effective on Monday, April 15, ending sanction waivers for the Mullahs Oil imports demonstrating the United States commitment to disrupting Irans terror network and changing the regimes malign behavior. U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced on the same day that The White House was ending exemptions from sanctions for countries that import Iranian oil. Three countries Italy, Greece, and Taiwan have already stopped buying Iranian oil. But when the waivers expire on May 2, 2019, the United States could sanction the remaining five countries China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Turkey, according to the Washington Post on May 22. The following is the White House statement: President Trump has decided not to reissue Significant Reduction Exceptions (SREs) when they expire in early May. This decision is intended to bring Irans oil exports to zero, denying the regime its principal source of revenue. The United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, three of the worlds greatest energy producers, along with our friends and allies, are committed to ensuring that global oil markets remain adequately supplied. We have agreed to take timely action to assure that global demand is met as all Iranian oil is removed from the market. The Trump Administration and our allies are determined to sustain and expand the maximum economic pressure campaign against Iran to end the regimes destabilizing activity threatening the United States, our partners and allies, and security in the Middle East. The Presidents decision to eliminate all SREs follows the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, demonstrating the United States commitment to disrupting Irans terror network and changing the regimes malign behavior. We welcome the support of our friends and allies for this effort.
Second: The Trump administration is offering rewards of up to $10 million each for information that disrupts the finances of Lebanon's militant Hezbollah, Irans proxy organization in the Middle East.
Third: Considering the last important key as far as an internal necessary element to the desires of the Iranian Peoples wishes is concerned, the opposition to the Mullahs for a democratic change and for a better and peaceful future. Currently, Resistance Units, a network associated directly to the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), are very active to support the flooded residents in 27 Provinces. In the meantime, the Resistance Units organize the youths efforts to provide various kinds of aids in local residents everywhere in the nation.
These resistance units are especially placing the IRGC in their crosshairs. Members of a Resistance Unit cited Iranian opposition, President Maryam Rajavi saying, National solidarity is the only method of overcoming this destructive flood. Members of Resistance Units in Tehran put up a sign also citing Mrs. Rajavi, President of the Iranian opposition coalition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), calling for Iranians consider helping residents of flood-hit areas a national duty.
In Tehran, resistance unit members took to graffiti and wrote, Hail to Maryam Rajavi Death to Khamenei, in reference to the mullahs Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In Ahvaz, the capital of the flood-hit province of Khuzestan in southwest Iran, members of resistance units took to graffiti across the city.
Go the route of Venezuela one would hope.
Sounds like some good moves from Trump.
province of Khuzestan
I always wondered where those things came from...
Squeeze them dry, economically
“Sounds like some good moves from Trump.”
Obama is saddened by the news.
Carter enable OPEC to become way too powerful.
Now they are funding global expansion.
Defund them- stop buying their oil.

I bet he is!
Clearly the Taco Bell coupons are the more valuable.
Thanks for the information.
Nice to see Trump running things here, rather than Jarad.
It never ceases to amaze me how Trump operates. Lesser men would dial back their efforts and only work effectively on a couple of key issues. He understands in our world today, how everything is intertwined in ways that make progress difficult. And yet, there he is, day in, day out, hitting all of it!
Trump understands how interconnected all the evil of the world is. Each dictator supports the others. Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, etc.
Take one out, and you make the rest weaker, and you can arrange to have the next domino fall.
Iran is a major instigator of instability and terrorism in the me and world wide....they will not go peacefully....
Id the Iranians block the waterway, figure a quick response from the US Navy. Crude oil will take off...
“Trump understands how interconnected all the evil of the world is. Each dictator supports the others. Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, etc.”
Let’s not leave out Erdogan. He has to go, or we have to kick Turdkey out of NATO!
He’s been over in Venezuela recently stirring the $hit! And he has to keep China out of this hemisphere for sure.
“Defund them- stop buying their oil.”
The percentage of OPEC oil purchased by the United States has been dropping steadily for about thirty years. Apparently, it was rarely over twenty percent. Since fracking has been getting cheaper, the US has become a net exporter when we include the oil we refine from Canada. The US is also, due to fracking, the leader in cheap natural gas production.
The biggest buyer of OPEC oil is China. Essentially, our Navy is keeping the Chinese economy fueled. You’d thing they’d be a bit more polite.
See what happens when you chant “Death To America?”
Death To Iran.
That’s Khuzestan, not Kazoo-stan. I doubt they have enough cheerful good humor in Khuzestan to produce kazoos, ok?
I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
Thank you for your service, tet68.
Not kazoos, coosies from Kuzistan.
