I thought it would be a good day to analyze headlines from around the fake news echo chamber so I assembled the leads as of 6:30 AM from the major news sites:

I was looking to see how they characterized the President’s decision to unseal documents related to surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016, which may unmask a lot of things that a lot of people would just as soon leave masked. Not surprisingly I found that the only news outlet covering it as a lead item was Fox News.
"The Attorney General has also been delegated full and complete authority to declassify information pertaining to this investigation, in accordance with the long-established standards for handling classified information. Today’s action will help ensure that all Americans learn the truth about the events that occurred, and the actions that were taken, during the last Presidential election and will restore confidence in our public institutions."
Google had a link to a story about the declassification but it was way down the page. I couldn’t even find a mention of it on any of the other sites. Although they may, now that Schiff has given them the proper spin to use:
…U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, blasted the move as an attempt to "weaponize law enforcement and classified information."
Sounds like another case of classic Democratic projection syndrome.
Not to say that weaponized law enforcement isn’t dangerous to liberty, the Obama administration certainly demonstrated that sufficiently. And if we see, as we suspect we will, that they used it to spy on their opponent and later Commander in Chief it will be a joy to see Schiff choke on his own words. But may I suggest that there is something in addition to weaponized law enforcement that is equally dangerous to our liberty:
Today’s exercise makes it painfully clear why at least half the people in this country have absolutely no idea what’s actually going on.
