The dog enjoys me cooking for her.
She is ailing from cancer and some other things that have suppressed the desire to eat. Chicken and rice with kibble and a appetite stimulant help.
My Wife has become quite the social media sensation, her expertise is “creative leftovers, Re-purposing things in wonderful ways. We go out to eat about once a month or so.
Me too. Cooking can be really easy given all the prepared food you can buy at the grocery store. Its also cheaper and healthier. It doesn’t have to be anything terribly elaborate to be good.
For example last night I had a chicken breast I had marinated for a day in lime salad dressing. Just take it from the tupperware in the fridge and pop it in the oven. Delicious.

ditto. i love to cook. and now that i’m semi-retired, i’ve got plenty of time to do it.
I love cooking, when health started declining and teeth went bad from the meds, we went to more doctored up box meals. It got easier as there were just the 2 of us. Empty nesters.
Honestly going out to dinner can be cheaper if you go to Golden Corral or someplace reasonable. Food in grocery stores have skyrocketed. It’s insane what prices are.
