The Curious Potential Bombshell Case of Patrick Byrne

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

I honestly don’t know what to make of this, so I’m just going to let you watch and judge for yourselves. – Overstock founder Patrick Byrne resigned his CEO position at the company on Thursday, and shortly thereafter appeared on Fox Business’s Varney & Co. program. What he had to say about his alleged involvement in several FBI domestic espionage efforts against various political campaigns would, if true, amount to grounds for scattering the raging dumpster fire agency to the winds.

Here’s the clip of the interview:

The interview is too long to do a complete transcript, but here are the highlights:

Byrne claims the following:

“Because 17 years ago, I helped them crack a murder…they knew me, and they called me in 2015, 2016 to assist in something. I didn’t know who the orders came from, but I assisted. “I took some orders that seemed a little fishy, didn’t know who the orders came from, but last summer while watching television, I figured out …that the name of the man who sent me the orders was a guy named Peter Strzok.” Question: Are you working with the Attorney General? “Let me be clear: I’m not working with anybody. The last time I talked to a federal office was five months ago. I explained everything to them between April 5 and April 30, and then I disappeared.” “Bill Barr – there’s gonna be a sculpture of granite of this guy somewhere – I couldn’t come forward for three years until there was rule of law in this country. I wasn’t gonna come forward when this guy Jeff Sessions…Truman said of an opponent I can carve a better man out of a banana, that’s how Americans should feel about Jeff Sessions.” ” Now, we have rule of law and I came forward to them in April. There are other whistle blowers within the federal bureaucracy with similar stories. “The bottom line is there’s a big coverup, there was political espionage conducted against Hillary Clinton, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.” ” I was in the room when it happened. I was a part of it. I thought I was doing law enforcement. Sorry.” That’s all in the first 4:30 of the clip. Byrne does not get more specific about exactly what activities he undertook for Strzok and the FBI, but goes onto say that he has told the whole story to Barr and that his information has been rolled into U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation into the whole Spygate scandal. Byrne says he resigned because he expects to soon become very publicly embroiled in the scandal as the Horowitz Report on FISA abuse is rolled out and the results of Durham’s investigation begin to bear fruit.

Byrne in fact claims that Barr’s decision to appoint Durham on May 13 was in part motivated by the story he delivered to Barr on April 30. Byrne also claims that he decided to resign now after consulting with his “guru” Warren Buffet, who advised him to do it now because if he didn’t, the Deep State would use his company to “grind me down.”

Byrne appeared on Fox New later with Martha Macallum, but did not reveal any more details.

Another very interesting facet of Byrne’s statements is his contention that another reason why he was approached by the FBI was the fact that he was carrying on an affair with Russian lawyer Maria Butina, who has popped up in several places during the whole “Russia Collusion” fantasy play, including in the infamous October 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Donald Trump, Jr. and others.

Readers may remember that Butina was arrested by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s thugs on charges that she was a Russian agent. After reaching a plead deal amid claims she had become a “cooperating witness” with the Mueller team, she had curiously been held in maximum security isolation until May 9, when she was suddenly moved to a white collar facility. Byrne claims that that move was also made due to his testimony to Barr.

No further charges against anyone have come from Butina’s supposed cooperation with Mueller’s thugs. Byrne’s story, combined with this curiously harsh treatment of a “cooperating” witness makes one wonder if Mueller’s people had isolated Butina in order to prevent her from making any public statements.

The clear outlier in all of this, however, is Byrne’s contention that the FBI wasn’t just spying on Trump and other Republican candidates, but on the Hillary Clinton campaign as well. While such a massive domestic spying operation within Obama’s corrupted FBI and Justice Department is certainly not difficult to imagine, given everything else we now know, the motivation they might have had for spying on the Pantsuit Princess is a mystery until we have more data.

If Byrne is to be believed, we will begin getting that additional data from Horowitz, Durham and Barr after Labor Day.

After so many previous false promises of such damaging new data, all I can say is that I will believe it when I see it.

That is all.

Yeah I dunno, I’m just glad that the administration is already on it and dealing with this issue by investigating it. Hopefully they will start releasing documents and findings soon.

Barr? Bwahaha!

Here are two videos for you. Watch them and weep.

************************************************************

The longer we wait for evidence that Bill Barr is not part of the swamp, the more clearer the swamps reaction to Barr’s nomination compared to John Ratcliffe’s announced nomination.

Why did the swamp/media go all out full banana to block Ratcliffe becoming head of ODNI, but voted to allow Barr becoming AG? Apparently the swamp/media was afraid of Ratcliffe. Why not Barr, also? Hmmmm?

in the original interview with Byrne, it was all about spying on Trump. there’s an attempt now to make it about FBI spying on Clinton, Rubio, Cruz & Trump. was Byrne told to change his story?

26 Jul: Sara Carter: Russia Probe Twist: A Billion Dollar CEO, A Convicted Russian Agent And The FBI
If what you already know about the FBI’s investigation into President Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia has you wondering what can come next, “make sure you are sitting down because it’s about to get worse,” said Patrick Byrne, the philanthropist and CEO of the mega online retail chain Overstock.com...

Oddly, Byrne’s name was not disclosed by prosecutors in the case or by the FBI. And despite the government’s earlier efforts to paint Butina as a Russian spy attempting to infiltrate Republican circles she was never investigated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, which charged 25 Russian agents with interfering in the U.S. election. Further, the FBI, unlike convicted Russian bombshell spy Anna Chapman, did nothing to stop Butina from meeting with high level Republican and conservative figures. The bureau also didn’t warn those conservative figures she had made contact with, even though they had her under surveillance and allegedly Byrne had been reporting on her during that time. As noted in a column by The Hill’s John Solomon Chapman’s actions were handled differently than Butina. When one of Chapman’s associates, who went by the name of Cynthia Murphy, made contact with Alan Patricof, a major Democratic donor close to Hillary Clinton, the FBI acted swiftly to arrest the entire cell...

“Eventually, her conversations became less about philosophy and it became clear that she was doing things that made me quite uncomfortable,” stated Byrne. “She was basically schmoozing around with the political class and eventually she said to me at one point I want to meet anyone in the Hillary campaign, the Cruz, the Rubio campaigns.”...

Bloomberg only referenced FBI’s “Clinton investigation”, while calling spying on Trump “Russian investigation”:

Updated 23 Aug: Bloomberg: Patrick Byrne’s Overstock Exit Came After Admission He Romanced Russian
By Jeran Wittenstein; With assistance by Bob Ivry
In a series of public announcements the last two weeks, the flamboyant entrepreneur cited entanglements with the “deep state” that included cooperating with law enforcement agents he called “Men in Black” with their “Clinton Investigation” and “Russia Investigation.”...

Been awhile, but I used to follow this guys story re: Overstock.com stock. He claimed at one point to have purchased all the shares of stock that were ever issued and there were still traders shorting Overstock when technically there were no shares to trade.

I'm pretty suspicious of his story(s).

I saw 2 interviews yesterday and there just seem to be too many pieces sounding like a wannabe secret agent.

References to solving a friends murder and "bringing down Wall Street"....

I realize he's struggling between what he can and can't say, but he seems to dangle too much tantalizing stuff (Strzok) out there, and then hold back in other areas.

I hope he's turned over meaningful info to AG Barr.

Yes. It makes sense that they were looking at Hillary too, and that Jarrett was pulling the strings.

I don’t think Obama sneezed without consulting her first.

No doubt.

The next Horowitz report will be just like the first. The body will show significant criminal activity and the conclusion will “nothing to see here.”

If we simply shut down the FBI, the conspirators would remain as a secret society like C.H.A.O.S.

Obviously it’s a personal opinion. Clues: his swings from upbeat/full of energy to teary in 10 seconds; rambling strange discourse; involvement in high flying esoteric ventures; high sense of self-importance (inserting himself as a moral martyr in a double nought spy case that he brings up but can’t tell you about); cryptic references to his “rabbi” that he then spills is Warren Buffet. Lots of highly intelligent, ultra productive people are bi-polar — it’s not meant as an insult. The guy comes across to me very much like Ted Turner.

I’m reading McCarthy’s book which is about as thorough as it can be.

This guy Byrne is not mentioned in it. Neither is the Russian Batina gal, not even Valerie Jarrett.

This doesn’t mean this guy is not legit, it tells me that there’s a lot more going on than meets the eye, and may explain the delay.

This could be much bigger and much worse that we ever imagined, Folks.

Dan Bongino seems to be up on this the most. He has a show that is pretty timely.

He talked about the CIA being behind this, and the FBI not really knowing. I guess we’ll soon see.

Byrne was just a bit player, sounding like it was just a simple ask of him.

If you get a chance listen to his complete interview. He adds interesting insights about Barr and his mentor, of all people, Warren Buffet.

Warren Buffet being the same one that was given a huge handout from Obama cancelling the pipeline which gave Buffet’s trains all the revenue they could want from hauling Crude Oil.

Did I hear him say at one point that he’s an Anti Trumper or NOT an Anti Trumper?
