The Community College of Philadelphia revealed their new mascot last Tuesday. With the audience consisting of CCP's students and staff, along with other Philadelphia team mascots, the new mascot was received quite well. This replacement comes after concerns of their old one being offensive.

PC dictated that they change to the Raccoons.
Back in the 80's when it was a farming town and was set by developers to expand.
They’re not worthy of being called Colonials.
So, should we expect Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell to disappear too? Maybe replace them with the Museum of American Prejudice and Oppression and a mournful bell that constantly tolls, day and night, as a remembrance of all of America’s victims.

Not only are American Indian nicknames a target, but names such as New England Patriots must be targeted as well, if these are the new criteria.
Back in the day, in Philadelphia, a bunch of racist Italians pushed through a street name change from “Delaware Avenue” to “Columbus Boulevard”. The PC righteous thought it was horrible to take the name away from the Delaware Indians and give it to a murderous white guy. They mounted a name reversion campaign until someone pointed out to them that Delaware Avenue was named after the Delaware River which was named after Thomas West, 3rd Baron De La Warr, another murderous white guy.
Why did they change the name. Was Colonial Phil’s last name Atio?
Sometimes it makes sense that employers prefer foreign employees.
They might think they are better prepared for the work place.

I think “Noble Migrant” would have been a better choice and the skool should change their name to the “Collective Community College of Philadelphia” (or CCCP).
The game day appearance of the Noble Migrant would have the mascot climbing a fence, and leading a cheer once he/she/ze reached the top.
