Also for years it's been illegal for privately owned vehicles to look like NYPD patrol cars. The old cop shows like Naked City, Car 54 Where Are You, etc the cars were painted red and white, they looked authentic because most of those episodes were filmed in black and white. Even the old restored patrol cars can only be driven to and from car shows and other special events.

Like others, it feels very odd to be supportive of the gang but that’s where I am at the moment.
