The Trump ad may or may not run.

Personally I think it would be FANTASTIC if Fox declined to accept it.

Think on how much political goodwill that would do for the President.

Will tommy boy weigh in with one of his many “’I’ will save the earth!” ads? Geez, you would think that between he and nannie bloomers and the money they’ve wasted trying to be king, they could have done a lot of good in some SHC in the world. Butt————————EEEEE-gos

Please, Donald, run your ads next to gloomberg’s, and make fun of him in your ads! His ads will be nihilistic and full of doom. Make yours funny with biting humor.

Most everyone around the water cooler the day after gossips about the ads. Most of the women I know watch the game only for the ads. ....for me. ...I gave up on the NFL years ago, ads or no ads.

I can say Bloomberg is saturating the over the air Tv with ads in Austin. He appears on virtually every channel and every show all day and night. Haven’t seen another rat party ad yet. However, Trump ads are here. Just not as much as Bloomberg.

What’s the point if all the commercials are on YouTube anyway?

There are over a billion worldwide viewers of the superbowl on live TV, how many people watch 'ads' on utube?

While most people are eating and drinking during the game, they are most open to 'suggestions via ads'.

You mean to tell me they show the same ads around the globe?

I would think the International Broadcasters would play their own commercials, instead of the US ones.

You can selectively watch them on YouTube, or not at all. During the game--that's prime time, and Trump knows it. Access is one thing, but having the choice to watch is another.

Yes, I'm sure you can say, "The Trump-haters will just turn the channel! Yes, they can, but the demographics that Trump wants to reach likely won't.

“I would think the International Broadcasters would play their own commercials, instead of the US ones.”

I’m pretty sure there are blocks of airtime that can be bought by locals in places like Taiwan or India or Europe. But the big money ads are international and the advertisers pay for that international reach.

Queue footage of middle class minority in morning traffic heading to work, should look like an average unassuming hard-working American not necessarily too cliche (IE; not lunch pail and flannel, or white collar and tie) listening to the radio with the typical left-leaning propaganda dribble moving in and out of auditory focus about how the economy is good but there are experts who want to pour rain on the parade. The driver, who appeared to be in a pleasant mood but showed perturbation at the radio suddenly gets and open stretch of road.

The driver smacks the radio console as if to rebuff the idiotic message, but upon contact the display flickers and an odd but faint blippy sound can be heard.

Show car moving faster and fade-in exciting music, perhaps something instrumental rock anthem-esque

...as the driver hits the gas. Sound of acceleration is audible, as well as a sound vaguely reminiscent of a “flux capacitor” (wont show anything proprietary in order avoid legal conflicts) and the sounds of electrical arching as the needle approaches 86 miles per hour

... then in a flash, the driver shows an emotional reaction of both shock and inquisitiveness as he is decelerating on the same road, but the weather is notably but vaguely different, and as he looks around, he notices a large roadside traffic status sign displaying “Roadwork scheduled on interstate 777 August 31 2016 thru October 22 2016.

Zoom in on 2016. Individual sign bulbs resolve and gleem/blur as the music turns foreboding.

Driver brakes hard and lurches the car to the side of the road. Dust rises up. Close up of driver gripping while with mouth agape.

Driver flings car door open. Looks up and around. “It can’t be 2016! I don’t have a job to go to!”

Just then a calm washes over their face. They notice a butterfly fly by. It lands on a tall wild-flower in the field just feet beyond the car. They walk over. Study the butterfly slowly articulating wings. A slight breeze can be noticed as the music represents emotional epiphany.
A finger approaches the butterfly. It walks on, and for a moment sits as they raid hand toward face for a closer appreciation of the colors.

Then, in a rush, the wings flap and the butterfly darts off, up and off screen. Person blinks and winces as dust/pollen was noticable in their face just after.

SNEEZE!

Screen wash to a breeze bending nearby trees.

Quick bleed to a heavy wind gusts in a notably different locale. Then bleed into hurricane force winds bending palm trees. Fade to black while the background instrumental evokes
Fade in to a motorcade in a large metropolitan area. Several stretched limousines, lead cares, motorcycle police with flashing lights. Weather appears turbulent. Switch inside lead vehicle. Man in dark suit, aviators, and ear peace gets a dispatch. “Sir, we are going to be delayed by weather conditions....” video fades slowly, audio of dispatch fades with slight reverb, and wash slowly as original time traveling driver is getting back into car. Finish fading in as car door slams and wheels kick up roadside dust in a roostertail.

Driver smacks dash radio counsel and shouts “back to 2020!” Blipping sound could be heard. Camera vantage from original roadside spot, dust still dispersing, car grows smaller and crests a distant hill, moving ever faster, as electrical arch-ing sounds can be heard in the distance.

—back to 2020—

Now pulling back onto original highway and merging back into rush hour traffic - use camera filters or post edit for faded dingyier colors (evoke distopian aire).
Same voice on radio as in the start of the first scene reporting on record unemployment numbers. President Clinton promises more government benefits to everyone to compensate for the hard times. As traffic slows several people can be seen on side of road holding up gnarled cardboard signs with unintelligible writing. Tents can be seen in field near roadside. Trash strewn everywhere.
The voice returns on the radio. “After the break, China threatens greater sanctions if the U.S. does not pay down on it’s massive trade deficits, the U.N is asking for more aide to Ukrainian refugees in eastern europe escaping the Russian invasion, the ISIS caliphate has has reached the border of kawait in the South and Isreal in the West and what can be done to stop them, and how the rates for the Clinton revamped affordable care act are raising again for the fourth time this month.

TBC

Will "they"(😈) air it? Will "they" even accept the ad or claim it's too offensive.

Last I heard, over-the-air networks that accept ANY political advertising pretty much have to take anything at market prices.

Years ago, Randall Terry ran for office and used that as an opportunity to buy explicit anti-abortion ads on TV. The stations HAD to accept the ads, and some ran disclaimers and warnings before they were shown.

Depending on who ends up going to the super ‘bowl’, there could be upwards of 20 people watching at any given time.

Great video. Bet Twisted Sister denies the rites to the sound track. Don’t know if they are Prez supporters.

No, I doubt that international TV shows many of the commercials, but over 100,000,000 {about a third of US citizens} watch some parts of the superbowl.

That is a very large reach and it is only ten cents per set of eyeballs.

If you are going to spend on TV, the superbowl has one of the best US audiences.

Great news about DOOMberg wasting 10 million dollars. He is irrelevant. His running means that 10 million and millions more won’t be funding other leftist candidates and causes.

For Bloomberg, $10 million is 2 one-thousands of one percent of his net worth. Small price to pay to get under Trump's skin. And a fraction of the money Bloomberg could toss to other Democrat candidates without missing a penny.

The SB ads are replayed over and over again, and that is what the advertisers count on. But the MSM can choose which ones to play the most, in whole or in part, in that tradition. We all know that they will be honorable and respectful regarding the political ads, in the spirit of their customary fairness and impartiality.

Lol.

I’m surprised the NFL did not refuse his money outright. They are committed Leftists.

And it would expose them if they did.

They can’t turn it down without Trump getting a lot of miles out of it for media bias and there’s the proof, in the middle of the Superbowl.
