WHO Director Overseeing Coronavirus Response Covered Up Cholera Epidemics In 2013

A week after a mysterious virus began to spread in China, the State Department enacted a level 4 travel advisory against the country on Thursday night.

Citing the Coronavirus outbreak, the State Department advised U.S. citizens to not travel to China for any reason – and for anyone currently in China to leave as soon as possible.

The State Department’s decision comes on the heels of the World Health Organization declaring the Coronavirus a global emergency. The declaration from the WHO seems suspiciously delayed – announced a full week after the virus accelerated spread in China.

However, if you look closer at the organization and its director, the head-scratching decision to wait so long starts to make sense. To begin, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus covered up cholera outbreaks in his home country of Ethiopia. As reported by the New York Times all the way back in 2017, Ethiopian officials pressured aid agencies to avoid using “cholera” to describe outbreaks and to not report the number of people affected. Sound familiar?

Well that there is comforting :)

I think it’s safe to say that many thousands will die from this in China.

I pray it is contained before many 10s of thousands die.

The first death in a Western country of an otherwise healthy person is going to make my confidence level on our safety slip a little.

I’m still hopeful for our fates in the US.

We shall see what happens.

I saw a TV news report a couple hours ago that WHO and Google are teaming up to prevent any ‘disinformation’ about the virus being posted on the internet.

it seems China likes to spread a lot of cash around in the medical/science/tech fields, like this Lieber guy for instance. Maybe Tedros has also sold his soul to join the ranks of newly wealthy?:

Didn’t get a chance to read but the excerpt, is anyone saying this is Pneumonic plague yet? It’s more serious than Bubonic plague. :(

UN Agency staffed by useless bureaucratic lifers who act against the interests of the public to protect their little fiefs.

That is a “dog-bites-man” story if there ever was one.

They were really good at hiding their 2013 Cholera epidemic.
2,013 deaths out of 716,823 cases and nobody heard a thing.
What are they hiding now with the corona virus?

I had Yersinia Pestis (bubonic plague) while in Vietnam in 1970. Got it from a defective Army immunization. I spent 23 days in intensive care. That was the sickese I’ve ever been.

WHO has dual agendas which in good times do not conflict.

These are not good times.

There’s WHO in the field. The people who count the dead babies want DDT. Then there’s WHO in Geneva, who want DDT banned, along with the rest of hated Western civilization.

In this case, continued globalization is threatened by the correct measures to stop worldwide spread of coronavirus. The response from WHO in the first week was fantastic, but the globalists in Geneva have taken over the messaging and the quality is, therefore, way down.

I didn't know these guys covered up an epidemic, too.

Considering there are 20k+ infections globally but a handful in America, I'd say so far we are in good shape. More people will likely die from the flu this year in America (on avg we lose between 20k-60k) than coronavirus. Pray the Rosary.

No, it is not “plague” – Bubonic nor Pneumonic. Those are caused by a bacterium - Yersinia pestis.

The 2019-NCoV is a coronavirus….caused by a virus.

Same organization that said Coronavirus was “not a pandemic this week”.

Do they think we’re stupid?
