The Democrats offer the free world, that cares about American greatness, the leadership choice spectacle of a spendthrift socialist with a recent heart attack a wide range of plans for bankrupting America and a sleepy old hasbeen who cannot be relied upon to remember his own name for the next four and a half let alone lead.
They do have one better candidate than either of these two guys, but she is honest with them and does principled things like not voting for a rabidly partisan impeachment, so the DNC shuts her out of its debates.
The good side of all this stupidity is that it increases the chances of a two term Trump presidency.
The Donald is a showman but he is also a nice guy who cares about his own people.
Lets hope, for the sake of the free world, that the generous spontaneity of this president is tempered by fiscal prudence.

I look at it this way. President Trump is buying votes. He has bought himself a sure guarantee on the 2020 reelection. But at what price? What cost?

That is not going to work. The one thing that economists have actually learned something about is how the economy locks up due to cascading defaults in a liquidity crunch, and the present emergency is creating the Mother of all liquidity crunches. We won't come out of this in 2 months with a bang. We will come out of it after something that looks even worse than the 1930s depression.

Seeing Trump speak about all the $'s gonna be doled out reminds me of watching KNBC when a gunman suddenly appeared behind David Horowitz live/on-air and forced him to read a prepared statement...with a (well, in this case...fake) gun at Horowitz's back.
