I have heard reports of people getting their stimulus checks deposited into their accounts. My son has for sure.
Mr mm went to the IRS webstie and it told him that they had not determined if we qualified or not, which is ludicrous based on the income we had for the last couple years.
Has anyone else gotten their money or had problems like this? Does anyone know how to resolve it?
I am in the same boat. I’ve had zero income this year.
Nobody pays. Things are not looking good. I figure maybe by September I might have most of my client’s paid up. Amazon is hiring like mad right now. $15 per hour. ...but I cannot stand for 8hrs. Bum leg. I’m going to start selling my blood. Have no choice.
Try again Friday. Its my understanding system wont be fully operational until then.
If you have direct deposit through social security youll get it via direct deposit. Relax
Its money you werent expecting. Stop
Not sure I can help you with this one. I can’t get onto the IRS’s website.
For that matter, I can’t even log into my credit union’s website right now due to the volume of traffic it’s getting. And it has occurred to me that the IRS might not even have my direct deposit information, given that it’s been quite a while since I’ve gotten a refund on my federal taxes.
Then you have to file them. I am i the same boat.
Just left the site.
You should be good if you filed 2018, I
haven’t yet. Misread your post.
How do you know this?
Since today is tax day but it is extended, I wonder how many have filed 2019.
As I said I filed 2018, do I also have to file 2019? It said 2018 or 2019, not 2018 and 2019.
Thats not true. Mine was deposited today.
Or reduces the taxes you still owe. 8>P
I read as 2018 alone should be enough.
Same here
Married filing jointly 150,000 or less = 2,400 stimulus
Each child 16 or under 500 per child added to stimulus
But you had to have filed for 2018 or 2019 and IRS has to have direct deposit information for you on record with the IRS.
Filling this out I think I happened to determine why I have not gotten mine. It's because I ended up having to pay extra last year. They do not count payments received from your bank by electronic payment as eligible to receive a direct deposit payment.
all I can think is your a govt employee or retiree flush with govt money and you have no sympathy for the mere private sector who btw, are suffering the most from this shutdown....
my adult disabled dtr who lives with us and on SS should get a check I’m hoping....but no money yet...
Me too.
Worrying about it does not help.
My Daughter and her family will get $3400 and they really don’t need it. I will get $1200 and do need it, especially if my car needs repair.
No engine warnings but I sure hear chattering valves.
