The irony of this whole Tara Reade/"Fingers" Biden situation is that if Gropin Joe came out and made a public apology to her RIGHT NOW, he could most likely contain the blast damage from this situation.
There's considerable sympathy on his side and in the middle with the independents for the #MeToo movement, and "believing all women".
Telling the truth in the forthright "common man" Joe Biden way might just defuse the bomb.
As it stands now, the longer Joe's Democrat political advisors delay the inevitable, the more collateral damage there is among his defenders, who are being forced to go into the Public Eye and mouth standard DNC lies.
The Rapin Bill/Lying Hill strategy ["Nuts And Sluts", with some Russian dressing] doesn't work here.
I haven't seen this take anywhere else, but it "feels kind of right" to me.

Having his lawyer contact Tara with a mutually acceptable financial payment as part of a Non Disclosure Agreement is the only real answer for Joe.

AFAIK, what he is accused of is legally considered rape. Not sure how one apologizes for that. Hard to say there is a middle ground here. One of the two people is lying. And I am pretty sure which one that is :)

The most entertaining thing I can imagine right now is all the contorted statements that JB would come up with in an attempt to apologize without actually apologizing for anything.
He can just keep ignoring it and letting the NYT and other "feminists" deem Reade's accusations as "untrue and debunked" and he'll be fine as far as the Reade non-scandal is concerned.

I doubt that an apology for sexual assault, aka rape, is forthcoming. It’s denial all the way. With the Dems and their cadre of flying monkeys that is the media, he’s protected until he’s not. That’s when Nancy and Chuck and his good friend Barack will ask for a meeting and say “Time to go, Joe.”
