...Because youre wearing one, youre mad at anyone else who isnt. You cant say with any real certainty or evidence that you know youre right to wear one, or that the other person is wrong not to. But thats what you were told, and you believed it. So you decided to get a mask and wear it and yes its a pain but you believe its part of a noble, collective effort to work together and do something big. And so when you see someone who isnt wearing a mask, you take it personally. Youve been told that that person doesnt care about your health and safety. And you believed it. And so you see the person who isnt wearing a mask as a bad person; one who isnt willing to chip in, as you are, for the collective greater good. And worse, you see someone who doesnt care if he or she puts others in harms way. Youre wrong. And Ill explain why shortly. But that hostility you feel for those not wearing masks is both unhealthy and unfounded. Your mask is making you meaner...

I haven’t worn a mask.
Its an armband theyve wrapped around their face.
Walked in to a local big box Menard’s store and they are requiring customers to wear masks to shop. The guy at the front entrance told me of this and said, “You can get a mask are over there.” I told him, “Nope, I’m done,” and walked out of the store.
This is insane!
It is beyond facemasks.
They are irate that you were breaking house arrest and going outside PERIOD.
They accuse you of risky behavior the jeopardizes the human race.
But homosexuality should be praised and bath houses should remain open and June orgies during gay pride supremacist fascist month should be financially supported by the public.
I don’t believe wearing a mask makes a rat’s a$$ of difference, except nobody hassles you if you’re wearing one, and they may call the cops if you’re not. So, it’s not a hill I’m willing to die on and I wear one, fuming all the time beneath this piece of cloth. It’s the yellow badge of cowardice and conformity. Women in Iran take off their hijabs. Americans in Israel put on theirs.
My son shared a conspiracy theory.
He said if the NSA wanted to work on their facial recognition software, they couldn’t have planned it better.
With everyone wearing masks it gives them a chance to perfect software targeting the eyes only area.
People actually end up touching their faces more when wearing these masks!
A new form of political correctness that does absolutely NOTHING!
That sure isn’t my experience in Mask Mandatory SoCal. Most people have been on their best behavior when I’ve been out shopping.
I don't believe that. That mask creates a physical barrier that keeps me from touching anywhere near my mouth or nose. And the glasses keep my hands away from my eyes.
Most ive encountered have been rude or fearful. Like spooked animals.
Can't wait to burn mine.
I have my 90 yo Mother who’s in fragile health living with me full time now, so a mask or anything else I can do to minimize the chance of bringing something back to her when I venture out among the herd is a small thing to me...
I understand the questionable utility of masks, hand sanitizer and all the rest, and if it was just me then I’d not wear a mask or obsess about any of it, but to me it’s not worth the risk to her that I make any kind of statement...
I don’t tend to get sick, flu or colds or any kind of infections, but she’s important to me so I will continue trying to protect her...

If someone wants to wear one, then they can.
People screaming that you are evil for not, and people sneering at people that do, are both just closet control freaks, and need to both get over themselves.
The computers can separate the area around the eyes with or without a mask.
Still, sounds like a smart kid.
Per my Maryland Governor Hogan’s mandate, I’ve had to wear a mask for the last month in order to do my grocery shopping.
I hate it. It aggravates my breathing difficulties and makes me feel like an outlaw.
Hoping that Hogan lifts his restrictive guidelines soon and liberates Marylanders to go about our business without being forced to hide our faces.
I have the same experience in my town in western NY. Everyone is acting respectful. The few people not wearing masks are left alone.
My nose itches, my eyeglasses fog up and my eyes get watery. I’m always touching my face more when wearing one.
