I am waiting for when they tell us we can’t wear masks, after mask wearers commit some armed robberies, etc.

It’s an odd feeling to be cheering for criminals to commit crimes to save us from crimes of the state.

“That mask creates a physical barrier that keeps me from touching anywhere near my mouth or nose.”

A couple days ago my sister told me of a study done recently showing that people touched their faces 25% more when wearing a mask than when mask-less.

So when we went to Walmart yesterday we watched people. They were adjusting the masks — all the time. Almost every time they did it they touched their faces somewhere — usually on the cheekbone where the mask edge is on their faces.

I had to wear one on Monday — my first and only time — to the doctor’s office. I noticed I constantly was adjusting mine. And my glasses were fogged. I can’t believe it’s healthy for concentrated breath to be pushed up into your eyes. Although I could be wrong; maybe it’s a good thing.

Bunch of Bullship...I wear a mask because I have few of the check marks. I see others not wearing a mask...I think nothing of it. Folks do what they feel they need to do. I do what I need to do to be relatively safe and scew the rest.

Oh, and my mask is a homemade, handsewn tie dyed mask.

But even before I thought nothing of it. We had asians, (Hmongs) that would wear masks during the winter in our little neck of the woods. If it does them good...fine, I always thought. Thought it was better than blowing snot all over the place.

Anyway, this blogger is full of himself...Wearing a mask does not give a glimpse into the reduction of freedoms or whatever crap they come up with...

The one thing I always thought with this virus that was a mistake was for the “experts” to not recommend wearing a HOMEMADE mask for everyone and save the man made masks for health care workers early on... The line about not needing a mask and that they don’t do anything for citizens but somehow magically work for doctors was stupid.

If many folks wore a homemade mask early on, then the extent of this virus might have been greatly reduced and we could have opened sooner.

that’s my two bits...

I never wear a mask. Even in public places. It’s too damn hot here in L.A. and they all look stupid.

I wear a mask sometimes, when there are a lot of people wearing masks going into a store. Afraid? Yeah, afraid some panicked mask-wearer will have a violent melt-down over me not wearing one. The media are keeping them in a lather over Covid-19.

It occurred to me the other day when I saw a few sketchy -looking mask wearers on the street.

Okay but even if they touch their cheekbone, that’s a long way from their mouth, nose or eyes. The virus isn’t going to crawl into the opening. The virus has to be placed there or land there.

Only once the virus is on the moist membranes, does it have a chance of landing on an ACE-2 receptor and generating a ton of copies of itself.

If you didn’t breathe in the virus, breathing out and fogging your glasses, isn’t going to be pushing the virus into your eyes.

But you can get goggles that fit tighter on your nose and are vented on the sides to help alleviate that problem. Mine fog a little bit, but not bad.

My biggest problem is when I get to check out and have to look down a lot. At that point, I’m usually at least 10 feet away from anyone else and I take off the glasses while I check out and bag my groceries. Then I put them back on once I’ve paid and I’m headed out the door.

Yup. My brother wears glasses and they fog up which irritates the crap out of him. Every breath its like steam going to his glasses, which fogs which in turn, made him quit wearing it.

I haven’t worn a mask.

I never have and don't intend to. Couldn't care less what the do-gooders and SJW think.

Yesterday at Lowe’s, there was this really large guy in the self checkout line. He had to be 6’5 and we’ll over 300 pounds, with a mask on. The person in front of him was having difficulty with the checkout and this guy was furiously breathing hard, shuffling his feet and just totally done. So it’s his turn, and the checkout messes up and he is frantically looking for a clerk, he was clearly having a panic attack, finally in a very loud muffled yell he starts screaming HELP, HELP, HELP ME..I NEED SOME HELP.” She walks up and asks if he was ok, and wow he went nuts. “ You expect us to stand here, not able to breath and then you finally show up,”.

Way back in the eighties I watched the c-span hearings on HIV. The aids activists were asked if people with aids should be quarantined, the answer was no. There were asked if the bath houses should be shut down, the answer was no. They were asked if people who had aids should be required to help doctors track down people that they had sexual contact with, the answer was no. They were asked if people donating blood should be asked if they engaged in homosexual activity, the answer was no. Homosexuals were not shamed by the media for having their blatant gay pride parades. Instead Hollywood wrote tv shows promoting acceptance of homosexuality and the Democrat party accepted the glbt movement with open arms. Today the Democrats love to use homosexuality as a club to beat conservatives. If you do not adore the homosexual lifestyle you are a homophobe. They chant “racist, sexist, homophobe” and they think they are more moral because they are willing to embrace anything that the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and what ever else they will invent in the future. Let Planned Parenthood kill 50 million children but the democrats will always be the enlightened ones in their own eyes.

A mask is a Idiot Flag. It says the person has no idea about infectious disease control but their boob tube told them to do it so they did.

Been to the bank yet? It's a hoot!

I’m waiting for the enviroweenies to bemoan the mountains of disposable wipes, masks and latex gloves filling up our landfills. They’re just looking for a way to blame Republicans for it.

I find this a bit presumptive. I don’t care what others do but I want to live a bit longer. To me it is like a condom. You wear it for protection whether you know your partner is healthy or not. I you’re using it for birth control you will be a parent, they break. But, it is better than nothin g on both accounts.
