Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. Sorry to read of the losses of the pastor’s sons, my sincere condolences.
The young sometimes don’t know that “This too shall pass.” when facing difficulties. Very sad that they gave up. Thank you for the message of hope.

I cannot tell you how important this particular scripture became to me on July 26, 2019 when my son died. With God all things are possible and so I go on. My hope is based on seeing my child again one day.
