The NFL says it is sorry.
The same league that pushed back and punished Colin Kaepernick for his peaceful protest against police brutality and social injustice now wants to join in and help the same cause.

When we reach the time when, indeed, that national anthem does reflect the life for all people in this country, the NFL can add it back. And you can bet, there wouldn’t be a resistance — not even from Kaepernick.

The NFL should only allow black players, black fans and allow broadcasts only in black homes. Seems to be what they want.

Get rid of it. Let them play to empty stadiums. Let them play to no one watching their games on tv.
I think for most of the players, most don’t realize that for their owners, owning that team is a hobby not what puts food on the table. Of course there are a few, Jones and the Cowboys, where that’s the money maker, but for most of them, they were billionaires before they bought the team. They can walk away from it whenever they want and not miss a beat.
Most of all, they’re businessmen. When they see that a division in their corporate empire is losing money, they sell it or close it down. I won’t have any sympathy for any of them. Especially Drew Brees and his wife.

I heard on the NFL Network that it was only in the last 10 years or so that the teams were actually out on the field for the Anthem. Prior to that they stayed in the locker rooms.
Die, NFL, die.
Remove ALL TAX BREAKS
Remove their monopoly.
Let them fund their own stadiums.
NFL leadership have been driving the league right into the gutter.
Fans are definitely ready for a new league, teams....

there are thousands of young fellows who can play really good football and would welcome the opportunity of getting paid to play the game. if the first couple of years of a new league maybe isn’t quite as good as NFL was a few years ago, maybe a few dropped passes or whatever? That is OK, OK on that! We still enjoy the sport, and the kids will get better with the practice, too.

Great idea . . . replace it with Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer . . . I guess it will take empty stadiums again and finally a Salary cap cut to finally pound it into their heads.
