A Seattle resident living in Capitol Hill, where activists have taken over a roughly six-block radius and turned it into the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), spoke with the Daily Caller in an exclusive interview about life on the border of the commune.
The man, who asked to only be referred to as Brandon, said he has been terrified since the protests began. Brandon said protesters are at his gates every night, adding that his own government has abandoned the people.
Im scared, Brandon said. Ive been scared every day since Sunday, and I havent gotten a lot of sleep. For the first time in my life in Capitol Hill, I hear gunshots every single night. Ive heard people screaming every single night outside. And theyre not protest screams
Ive also heard screams of terror out there, and I dont know whats happening out there.

CNN says that this is a peaceful protest.
But CNN and the lefties tell us it is utopia.
Hey, Brandon... Be sure you vote “democrat” again this fall, ok? Cause Trump’s a racist... Or something.
So, Brandon, who did ya vote for?
Welcome to the party, pal!
No sympathy. None.
Maybe it’s time for Washington residents to take it back.
Think Brandon is still a democrat?
It is time to CHOP CHAZ and to try all the Antifa militants who survive for treason and then, after a fair trial, execute each and everyone one of them with a bullet to the back of the head—in the way their Communist cousins would take care of them.

Here’s a thought that I wish I didn’t have:
Say that President Trump DOES send in the troops. As soon as the idiots at CHAZ or CHOP (or whatever they’re calling themselves now) hear that the Feds are on the way, what’s to prevent them from grabbing a bunch of non-protesters who actually live on Capitol Hill and make hostages out of them?
I can just see those fools saying they’ll kill hostages unless the troops turn around. And then DOES kill some to prove they’re serious.
I wouldn’t put it past these grown-up cry-baby fools to try something like that.
This district...was mid-town Seattle, and Chad is the south-end of the district, against the Cal Anderson Park (was a safe park, at least before the homeless issue got out of hand). This whole area was full pubs, bars, cafes. It defined the character of the area....at least through the 1990s.
Most people would say that the past decade with the homeless issues, the out-of-control rent, pumped-up enthusiasm for higher minimum wage, and political charged up rhetoric....have made it marginalized and certainly not sustainable.
This thought had occurred to me before this morning
I’m even more convinced this will happen after listening to Brandon.
I don’t watch any news. Now how can we ever get real reporting? The Gateway Pundit and others can’t get in.
I predicted food and non food corporations would pay for food and free supplies to be delivered and make it look like a leftist BLM Woodstock. Did that happen?
Chances I will watch TV news to find out are between slim and none and slim left town last week.
Don’t forget the drugs and homosexuals that also frequented the park.
In listening to the whole video, it does sound as if Brandon did vote for demonrats—up until this point.
It sounds like he is getting “woke” now.
Is he a filthy low life scumbag Democrat or a decent person?
I think he is newly minted member of the Walk Away movement.
So, I think he is a decent person who thought decent people should be with demonrats and now realizes he had it all wrong.
Hanging would be more memorable.
