Living in Maryland I followed the Freddie Gray riots in Baltimore, but it was nothing like this riots spread to cities across the country.
The Video in Floyd is damning, but that still cant explain it all.
I think it's COVID fueling it : Jobs shut down, federal government replacing them with welfare, OOOPS I mean stimulus checks,...too much free time.

I lost my last nerve as soon as I read it. As sad as it seems I fear that very few know the difference between one n and two. English is no longer taught and is spoken less every day. We need a new name for the current pidgin language as it is certainly not English.

I said at the beginning of April when the lockdowns started that if they continue into may we will see riots. And here we are.
The cause of these riots are the lockdown. The Floyd video was just the spark it needed. If it hadn’t been that it would have been something else. Count on it.
And I don’t think the video is damning at all. When you look at the full story, I suspect those officers are all going to walk, just like the guys that beat Rodney King did (at first), and George Zimmerman did.
I’d suggest that autocorrect will be the death of homonyms, but I’d probably be accused of hate-speech.

I read today that she had a statue of Columbus removed in the middle of the night so it sounds like the anarchists got something for the march.
I know nothing of autocorrect but from what I have seen it should be called auto INcorrect. The only way a computer program can correct spelling is to guess at what the word is supposed to be based on context and that often comes out wrong. Some of the most garbled posts I have seen are blamed on so called autocorrect. English is said to be one of the very most difficult languages to learn but the only people who seem to understand the rules of the language now are a few who speak it as a second language. Native speakers often use words that mean the exact opposite of what they intend to say.

I had an easier time dealing with typos than with some of the gibberish that autocorrect produces. The only benefit that I see is that it’s sometimes humorous. Or is it humerus?

Good things are coming out of their mini rebellion and the continual bad CV 19 decisions by blue mayors and governors.
I would have to be labeled: English/Scottish/German/African and Native American as per my DNA.
