PLYMOUTH STATE UNIVERSITY IN NH 'BRANDING' THEIR CATTLE STUDENTS
SELF | 9/11/20 | Self

Posted on 09/11/2020 12:31:35 PM PDT by griffin

Plymouth State University, namely VP Marlin Collingwood and Director Katie Caron are attempting to band University students like cattle with the stated intent of broadcasting everyone's COVID test status. I don't know where they are getting the funding for all this testing and the wrist bands, but this is a ridiculous waste of what might be possible public funding.

Collingwood and Caron are attempting to implement a weekly COVID test, as a condition of continued school attendance. Their letter, recently sent out to the student body, is shown below. Unfortunately, I could not locate information on their website to link to. I'm not sure what their agenda is here. Perhaps softening up the student body for mandatory vaccines?

As bad as that is, even more disturbing is the fact that they are forcing the students to wear and display, like cattle, colored bracelets, the purpose of which is to force visual communication by the student, to people not personally approved by each student, to receive personal medical information that said student has taken a COVID medical test. In addition, since the intent of the bracelet is to imply said tested individuals are not infected by the mere fact that they are allowed to continue to remain on-campus, that is a forced public display of personal medical information and testing result. This is totally unacceptable, dehumanizing and humiliating. ----------------------------

From: Marlin Collingwood Sent: Thursday, September 10, 2020 2:34:16 PM Cc: Katie Caron Subject: COVID-19 Weekly Testing Schedule

Good Afternoon PSU Community:

Next week (Monday September 14) we will begin our mandatory weekly COVID-19 testing for all students, faculty and staff that are learning, living and/or working on campus in person.

Every student, faculty and staff who plans to be on campus for any reason is required to be tested every week.

Testing will take place each week @ ALLWell North on the following days and times: Monday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Tuesday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm Wednesday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Each Friday a campus communication will be sent with details on when you should report for testing based on your last name. Tomorrow you will receive information about your specific testing slot for next week.

Wristband System Next week we will begin using a wristband system to indicate that you have participated in the weekly testing. After you take your test you will be given a wristband to indicate you have participated in testing – each week will feature a new wristband color. For the week of September 14 the wristband color is GREEN. You will need to wear your wristband all week, until you receive a new one, the following week. We recognize this is a bit cumbersome, but it’s temporary, and necessary to keep our community healthy.

Again, thank you for your patience and your commitment to keep our community safe and healthy.

I welcome calls to the two masterminds listed in the email above. This surely must be a violation of medical privacy HIPAA was intended to protect and an extreme waste of funding on testing a student demographic that is largely unaffected by COVID. It would be interesting to have someone look into this and see if funding is being used inappropriately and what the motivation of all this is.

This is absolutely a HIPAA violation. And a civil rights violation as well.

Now the baton has been passed: September and schools are “opening” and now the Schools are going to be the next bunch of Covid madness enforcers. This will never end.

Not to mention that the wrist band only indicates
that someone has been tested, not covid free.

Condition the sheep...

I think so, but I’m only an engineer.

Any attorneys out there that care to weigh in here? I’d welcome it!

I’m interested in finding a NH based attorney to take up this battle.

Maybe make them wear six pointed stars sewn onto their clothes so everybody can see those with the infected bad blood ?

Oh, that’s right . . . . ..

Yep, false sense of security. This whole thing was very poorly thought out.

5 minutes after testing negative, you could become infected. A lot of good "branding" will do.

Now if they wanted to brand snowflakes with a smoking red hot real cowboy cattle branding iron, I'd be all for it.

It is only fair, right?
I also think we all have a right to know which people have changed their genders....just so we can be extra careful with our pronouns! Band the gender-benders!

Are they going to do this for the flu each year also?

Ah NO! Not just no, hell no, no way.

This absurdity has gone on long enough.

If the college wants to close down, just do it.

Otherwise business as usual.

Apple has an update 13.7 which is being described as an
opt in point for contact tracing. Opt in? B. S.

I deleted it from my phone, without installing.

They’re describing the download as Opt in for this, and
some error corrections as well.

So I have to leave some problems on my phone if I don’t
want to submit.

I’m not a happy camper over this. And frankly, it’s
affecting my decision about buying a new phone too.

I may just keep this one for another year or two.

I hear ya. Windows 10. Virtual monopolies have a high price. I REALLY have other things I need and want to do rather than get dragged into these things. But just damn! Sometimes ya just can't take it any longer.

Socialism is trying to solidify a monopoly on world governance over the dead body of the US Constitution and a percentage of the populous that lacks wisdom.
