New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), during a lengthy Instagram Live video Monday night, tearfully revealed that she is a survivor of sexual assault.
She then proceeded to sacrifice the somberness of the moment by comparing Republican senators Ted Cruz (TX) and Josh Hawley (MO) to her abuser over their alleged role in the Capitol riots.
AOC provided no details regarding her assault but was willing to use it to make a political statement.
“The reason I’m getting emotional in this moment is because these folks who tell us to move on, that it’s not a big deal, that we should forget what’s happened, or even telling us to apologize, these are the same tactics of abusers,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
“I’m a survivor of sexual assault, I haven’t told many people that in my life,” she added. “As a survivor, I struggle with the idea of being believed.”
“The reason why I think it’s important to share is because so many of the people who helped perpetrate and who take responsibility for what happened in the Capitol are trying to tell us all to move on,” AOC said. “And they’re trying to tell us to forget about what happened.”

Listening to Mark Steyn on Rush’s show today, he presented evidence that she was not in the capital building when the cop scared the poor thing. In fact, another congress member said she was in a different building.

I think I know what AOC means, I felt like I got raped too. All that election tampering made me feel like I got screwed, and then all the authorities looked the other way while I was being raped and refused to even look at the evidence of election fraud
