LOL - if the truth hurts, one should consider changing that truth about themselves. if it is impolitic to speak the truth, then we have already surrendered.

I worked from the time I was 15 until I was 62 -started out with some minimum wage jobs and decided to find something better.

Because of both Democrats and Republicans, COVID-19 and the lockdowns about 78 million people went from “something better” back to minimum wage. So yeah, a higher minimum wage is definitely required. Not once place in the US can one rent an apartment on minimum wage earnings.

The entire entertainment, conventions, travel, events, sports, music, film and cinema, restaurant and bars industry remains shut with no chance of realistically opening until probably 2022 to 2023. That’s a lot of people forced to work McJobs. Decades of experience wiped off the books to man a grill or fry station.

I have no doubt things are tough - I do recall that when the Trump economy started steaming, there were a ,lot of jobs waiting for people to fill them - since I’m retired, and don’t know anyone currently struggling to get a job - most of those I know are gainfully employed - I guess all I can do is say a prayer for those who are struggling.

Well if “Mon and Pop” don’t like paying the min. wage they can quit their small business and learn to code.

That’s why I was finally forced to look for employment overseas. Thousands of resumes/CVs sent out with no chance at all to get past the Indian racist hiring gauntlet. Americans are effectively barred for a lot of STEM jobs due to the mere fact that we are Americans.

And 10 million more of the filthy, disgusting Indian foreign trash are on the way here, no thanks to the Globalist Uniparty that absolutely loves its Cheap Indian Labor Express.

Only Trump stood in their way.

I have one word: productivity.

That’s why the minimum wage is a disaster.

I learned to code once - when I was 8, I got a book from the library that had a number of methods to code messages, along with some history of coding, like tattooing a slaves bald head and waiting for the hair to grow to cover it before sending him off (I guess time wasn’t as critical back then) - never did figure how to make a living off it though, for all the good it did, I could have done better digging in the ground for coal..
