The dimwits who run Jeep spent $22 million on a Super Bowl ad featuring Bruce Springsteen, one of the most obscene and irrational leftist critics of President Donald Trump, advocating for “national unity” now that the DC Swamp has installed a brain-addled, China-subservient sock puppet in the White House. The ad featured the washed-up 3-note rock star driving a Jeep across beautiful American – or maybe they were Chinese, who knows? – terrains into a serene sunset.
Anyway, you will never, never, never, ever see Jeep run that ad again, because yesterday the Hollywood Reporter revealed that Springsteen got himself arrested for DWI and reckless endangerment charges last year. I swear I am not making this stuff up.

I didn’t see the ad. Much advertising is now brainwashing 101 from the left.
I didn’t watch the Super Bowl. I haven’t seen one in 30 years.
I don’t like Bruce Springsteen’s music. I like some classic rock but never got into his fake everyman routine.
I don’t agree with Bruce Springsteen’s political views. Do I need to add to that?

Jeep couldn’t have screwed up more on this than if they intentionally tried.....
Their spokesperson is a flaming libtard (Springsteen) that has consistently personally demonstrated a total lack of intention for unifying the nation.....plus add-in now the DWI charge.....
His pontification, the condescending and demeaning visuals, and verbal patter in the advertisement were insulting to all of us in flyover country.

Like most people I really enjoyed his music....but after realizing who he really is I can’t tolerate his image of his music!!!! Fast forward is your friend!!!

Springsteen has a few decent songs, not as many as he thinks he has, but he is a fake. I don't believe the image for one moment, never have. I grew up in a blue collar town, with blue collar friends. My dad came home from work every evening with dirt under his fingernails. I had friends that dropped out of HS to work in the mills and a tool & die shops. When you live and breath that life, you can spot a fake a mile away. Springsteen is and always was a fake.
As for calling for unity, that's a laugh. The left has spent the last 4+ years calling President Trump every evil and vile thing they can dream up while simultaneously trashing his supporters with the same or similarly unfounded accusations. Now they want unity? No. Just no.
Why would we want unity with people who have been so consistently insulting us?

Tell you want leftist lurkers, here's how you can gain a modicum of respect. Have Biden and Harris admit that their election was a complete fraud, that they lost in a landslide and only through massive cheating have they taken office. Then have Harris resign. Biden appoints President Trump as VP. Then Biden resigns so that President Trump can take his rightful place. Bonus points for having all the Congressional seats that were similarly "won" by fraud resign too. Additional bonus points if Biden rescinds all his executive orders before leaving office - saving President Trump the trouble. You're not willing to do that leftists...then no unity. None. Leftists, you've done wrong. You know it, we know it. You own up to it and make it right, that's being a stand-up person. You don't, then you're not worth spit. You genuinely are the scum of the earth.
During the GWB second campaign, a friend and I worked the phones at the Republican headquarters in Columbus, OH a couple of days before the election. Springsteen was in town doing a free concert for Kerry and making a splash in the news with nasty comments about Bush. As we were leaving a reporter randomly came up to me and started asking questions about the campaign and Springsteens comments, which was live. I answered “I just don’t see how anything a “has been” rock star says, could be taken seriously. Springsteen is not on the ticket, no one has ever elected him for anything, so voters need to know why Kerry would use him as bait for a vote” (paraphrased). I made the evening news on three local news stations and hope the “boss”saw it.
