This article from Associated Press says that one of Dr. Seuss’s books was canceled because “an Asian person is portrayed wearing a conical hat, holding chopsticks, and eating from a bowl.”
That’s not racist.
It says another one of his books was canceled because it had “a drawing of two bare-footed African men wearing what appear to be grass skirts.”
That’s not racist.
I thought liberals were in favor of diversity.
Why are they now against it?

I wasn’t much of a Seuss reader as a kid. Mainly because the Suess books in the libraries I visited were constantly out on loan. But I’ve seen enough of his art to know that nothing he draws looks like anything on earth except in the loosest possible sense. So how could they say for certain any two Suess characters were from Africa unless there was a sign attached to them saying so?

Because liberals are against everything, always (unless it’s some bizarre form of sex). That’s them, the always aggrieved, perpetually against. Change things to the opposite of what they opposed, then they’ll be against THAT.

Better cancel national geographic, pbs, discovery, TLC, Travel Channel, Fern Gully, zoos, michael Chriton, history, sociology, museums, etc.
Anyone notice that Disney’s trigger warnings say nothing about them giving all the proceeds from their racist past films to charity, or even to stop charging people to view them?
