I also enjoyed his radio show, very much. I especially liked his lessons on diction, and to this day correct people who mistakenly refer to a lectern as a podium.

I owe Liddy a lot!! He changed my life. I was always afraid to FLY, and I missed out on tons of great trips my husband went on, and one day a man called into his radio show with the same problem, and he said "Do you think if GOD wants to call you home, he would only do it if you were on a plane"?
I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing and I will be forever grateful!
