The CNN bubble protecting Saint Anthony Fauci was gloriously burst on Tuesday when their own analyst, Josh Rogin, went off the prescribed script and made some highly uncomfortable observations about the Wuhan lab that SHOCKED poor Alisyn Camerota. I wouldn't be surprised if Jeff Zucker's chrome dome turned beet red with anger during this interview which could well be the last one for Mr. Rogin on CNN.
Maybe even the left are getting sick of his never ending mask recommendations. After all, they have children too and are probably just as sick of it as the rest of us...maybe. Fauci has overplayed his hand in his love of his power.
No, that’s disappointing. He broke off from the NYT and was an original thinker, at least initially. The only defense for FraudXi I can muster is that he was an unwitting stooge to the Chinese evil plot to create this pandemic.

Josh Rogin explained it in the podcast I listened to. The legitimate rational for gain function research is to advance virology to come up with better vaccines even against the most vehement viruses.

The problem is with that is, that lab was/is tied to the Reds military.
But like you said, they effed up and it got out BEFORE they had an antidote ready.
And BTW, that is exactly what my pulmonologist called this vaccine..an antidote. He strongly recommended me to get it since he believes that the thing might become dormant in peoples bodies and spring back up. We had a very long discussion about this where I asked him a LOT of questions. He was a former military medical. Now retired from the medical profession. We used to hunt an fish together when he got some spare time.

It has been determined that the culprit in the bat community is the horseshoe bat. This species roosts from Japan westerly to mainland China and Korea, as far west as North Africa, and north as the Netherlands. Colonies have been found in Iceland. So that being the case, why did this virus come from the bats around Wuhan which happens to house the largest and newest bio weapons lab in China and they are the largest seller of bio weapons in the world?
The plague was discovered in northwest Asian in 1331. It arrived in Europe in October 1347. And they had no idea how it got there.
SARS and MEERS has been a steady source of illness and the medical world knows exactly how it is transmitted and the Wuhan lab was testing about virology concerning this for many years. So they know it existed, they experimented with it, and it “somehow got loose?” This about the time China was failing politically and financially everywhere?

I don’t believe the virus was leaked from the lab. I believe it was deliberately released. The Chinese have never had respect for the individual lives of their citizens. From their point of view, so what if a few hundred thousand or millions of their people die so long as China becomes the preeminent world power. The virus also had the benefit, from the Chinese point of view, of helping to get rid of the hated Trump who imposed tariffs on them and was tough on a variety of issues with China. Now China has their highly compromised puppet in the WH doing their bidding to further weaken our country.
I think the CDC patented the Covid-19 virus, as they patented the SARS virus of 2003.
Patenting the SARS virus in 2003 gave them control over who studied it, how it was tested, how it was measured etc. If that SARS virus was bioengineered, the CDC’s patent was a violation of war treaties. If that SARS was natural, it was illegal to patent it because ‘you can’t patent nature.’
The CDC then filed to keep their 2003 SARS patent confidential. Why?
I think the CDC has been controlling the Covid plandemic by making it impossible for independent researchers to obtain isolated samples of the Covid-19 virus with another ‘private’ patent.
If the Covid-19 virus is bioengineered (I believe that’s been obvious) then the CDC has violated war treaties in patenting a biowarfare agent.
If it’s a naturally occurring virus, then the CDC couldn’t patent it, and likely independent researchers could obtain isolated samples of the virus to study drug treatments etc.
Researchers with connections to Fauci’s NIH (e.g., funding) say they have samples, but independent researchers have been denied isolated samples since the plandemic began.
Fauci, the NIH, the CDC are all compromised. The CDC is funded by it’s CDC Foundation, of which George Soros and Bill Gates are among the donors.
More about isolates samples below, but basically the CDC has the power to control the narrative and I suspect they are using a private patent on the Covid virus to help them do it:
