“These people are either all bark no bite, or complete morons, or both.”
You are so wrong. They know exactly what they’re doing and why they are doing it.
You need to start paying attention.

Trump received 37.74% of the vote in New York last election. To gain a conviction you need a unanimous decision. They still don’t even have a crime.
Correct.
There’s a whole lot of wishful thinking and whistling past the graveyard going on out there. What was that quote from Babylon 5? “The avalanche has begun. The pebbles no longer have a vote.”
Trump would be tried in New York City, which is at least 80% Democrat.
It would be a replay of the Minneapolis George Floyd trial.
Which NYC juror is going to be brave enough to risk life and limb to vote Not Guilty?
This.
You can guess who authored the bible that says you can cancel a jet fighter order and not refund any of the money, then go on to freeze $120 billion of the customer's assets worldwide. The mullahs, out of options, took the hostages.
Carter's gang boycotted the Moscow Olympics. Biden signing the Beijing Olympic boycott is certain.
It doesn’t stop with Trump.
There’s this NY State Senator who is now running for Manhattan Borough President, who is basing his whole campaign on getting Rudolph Giuliani prosecuted and convicted. Whole flyers with large pictures of Giuliani on both sides, coupled with statements on how this guy is going after him.
Nuts.
As I understand the rumors of Trumps putative crimes, they are tax related. Other than signing his own returns, I doubt they’ll be able to prove very much, insofar as intent is concerned, which is an essential element in any crime. At most, they’ll be able to lock up his accountants, but not likely. It may be a matter that he’ll have to pay some fines, related to some deductions that the IRS disallows, or in this case, NY State. Negligence does not equal intent, and people like Trump are schooled, and well skilled, on how not to end up in a tax situation. Not to mention, finding a jury of his peers that will actually convict him. The only way a jury is empaneled that will convict him, is if it is entirely made up of rabid Democrats. Not gonna happen. My question would be: I’ll take jury nullification for $1,000 Alex.
They are in sense creating law
They are putting taxing authority with politically appointed prosecutors
If the IRS believes Trump was running a tax scam they would have prosecuted him by now
One could probably argue that the prosecutor doesn’t have jurisdiction here
And all of this begs the question, “What crime has Donald Trump committed?”
RE: What crime has Donald Trump committed?”
That’s what the fishing expedition is for...
Never underestimate the vengeance, lust for power and hubris of the DOJ.
They won’t stop it. More excuse to round up Trump supporters. The federal government wants to bring in the hard police state and martial law. I think the left believes they can win a civil war..
The part will push the right into a civil war when they think they can win it. At this moment they are strong and could well think this is the time. The hold, however tenuously, the presidency, and both houses of Congress. The bureaucracy, particularly the FBI and CIA are aligned with them as evidenced by how hard they have gone after Trump advisors and supporters while ignoring leftist lawbreakers. The military is going full woke as senior officers align themselves with Democrats to propel their advancement. Their allies control almost all media outlets and they have the power to censor via those and social media networks which are also in their control. The propaganda machine is well tuned and has control of almost all the information seen by the vast majority of people.
Violent protests across the country are excused without consequences for anyone but their victims. A small number of trespassers at the Capital are ruthlessly prosecuted and others face consequences for just being on the Capital mall that day. The whole country has spent over a year cowed by fear driven restrictions on behavior and movement. Companies are actively enforcing racist mandates both internally against white employees and externally with ad campaigns. I think we are already in a civil war but not of a kind we imagined and we are losing badly.
“The next Republican president will be under enormous pressure to take a similar Democrat scalp.
Its cute that the author thinks there will ever be another Republican President (or even a substantial Repub House or Senate majority). Now that the Left has stolen a Presidential election and gotten away with it, they will never give up power.
Agree. If they can indict him and then arrest him they will do so.
After brazenly stealing the presidential election leftists realize that there will be no effective pushback from normal folks no matter what. The Left owns ALL of the institutions and they efficiently use them to destroy their enemies. Take a look at all the patriots locked up in solitary right now over the Jan 6 protest. In a virtuous society thousands of good people would find a way to free them. In a virtuous society the murder of Ashli Babbit would not go unanswered. Yet it does.
To PDJT: buy a piece of property with a home in North Texas.
And cowardly Republican politicians will say nothing.
They can't help themselves. The seethe with anger over the fact that Trump wasn't guilty of any Russian collusion or that they weren't able to impeach him, TWICE, so they continue to pursue him because of their hate for him.
It's not so much that they think he did something wrong, but that they simply hate him. That is the mentality of Vance and the other prosecutors going after Trump.
Trump is the Right's Hillary, except Hillary actually committed crimes. Trump's crimes are imaginary.
Exactly, there is a tacit line that is never crossed.
