BINGO!. Before China virus, I couldnt even dare take a seat at the library with the amount of dirty smelly “homeless” clowns who sleep in during the day and charge their Obama phones. There’s a reason why the L.A. Downtown library is called the Homeless Hilton. The wifi isn’t as fast as Starbucks but it’s fast enough.
My ophthalmologist doesn’t wear a mask, and he said he prefers that his patients don’t, either. The whole office did for a couple months in the spring of 2020 — the two weeks to flatten the curve period — but they dumped that quickly.

I have a different perspective on this, having run several libraries in South Georgia.
I see it as you were asked to wear a mask while in a Government Building and asked by one of the Government employees who didn’t make the policy, but, is made to enforce the policy to keep their job. You reacted poorly to their request and were abusive to someone just doing their job.
Had I been there when you did this, I would have had you banned from the system. In our system, you could be charged with Criminal Trespass if you returned on any Library Property.
I don’t see any value in acting like a Liberal to get your point across. We’re suppose to be Conservative, and, part of that is acting like a grown up, not a spoiled liberal.
Give small people just enough power to make them feel big....

2 young relatives, one 27 and one 16, developed eye problems since mask mandates. One had a cyst in his upper eye lid that needed two doctors visits and a surgery to fix.
The other was a fungus in the eye that was seen by the pediatrician, an optometrist, an ophthalmologist and then sent to an eye specialist 4 hours away. All were seen in the same week. She took an anti fungal and a steroid for months. I think the masks were part of the problem with exhalation redirected up an out of the mask sometimes.

It used to be like that in my town as well. The homeless dominated the computers. I wonder how Starbucks managed to keep them out all these years.

Libraries and museums were good places to go until the cities did away with the vagrancy laws.
Now the libraries are full of unwashed bums sleeping off the drinking binges. They love the AC in summer!
My favorite big city library had to close one floor due to a bedbug infestation.
Museums began to charge a small fee to keep the bums out. It worked!
