My two cents:
Christopher Wray had an opportunity to FIX what the FBI was doing, but chose not only to keep the same Lawless strategy, but also to enhance it.
Wray could have been a HERO. Instead he became a cancer that will destroy the Agency.
As a Michigan resident at the time, I followed whatever was on the local news. An interesting item that was quickly discarded at the time was that the ‘plotters’ were planning a ‘citizen’s arrest’ of Whitmer. When someone believes that a person has committed a crime, it’s hardly illegal to discuss conducting a citizen’s arrest.
If this truly was the original intent of the ‘plot’, and that the FBI turned it into a ‘murder’ plot, then the arrested should be immediately released, and the FBI instigators should be the ones in jail.

It seems to me that the Defense should subpoena these people and put them on the stand under oath. Treat them as hostile witnesses if you have to but I’d be demanding the opportunity to get their sworn testimony.

LOL - as if it all hinged on Wray. Who has been around longer with more scandals?
Recently I watched a video of Whitmer....can’t remember who put it together. I think that she was still a state legislator but she was the one who opened the door to let the protestors storm the State Capitol building. The internet appears to have done a good job of scrubbing it.....
As I watched that, I wondered what ‘active role’ she played in the whole kidnapping plot....
