Almost the only way to peacefully bring down an out-of-control, tyrannical government is a General Strike. It doesn’t always work…sometimes the response to it is violence and sometimes the government is so hardened that they won’t release control without violence…but more times than not, it works.

The order from John Lohr, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing in Nova Scotia is directed at people gathering to wave flags, cheer, and otherwise support "in support of a 2022 Freedom Convoy, an Atlantic Canada Holds the Line event, or an organized protest intended to interfere with the normal flow of vehicle traffic on a road, street, or highway."
It relies of the March 2020 COVID "state of emergency".
Did anyone who went along with the original "state of emergency" think that less than 2 years later their own government would put "summary fines" on people who simply want to stand on an overpass, or along the side of the road and wave the Canadian flag?
This should be a lesson for everyone. Once a government gets unlimited "emergency" power tyranny follows.

I stayed at a Best Western in Halifax in 2015. The woman running the desk was pretty and feminine, and the two young women running the bar at the hotel restaurant were pretty and feminine. One of them was preparing to get married, so I wished her good luck. All of them also seemed happy to be talking to a foreigner from the USA.
I’ve been to Nova Scotia. It is a lovely province, just like California is a lovely state. And in each case, the people in charge are ruining it.
I, personally, would draw the line RIGHT HERE.
They would need to arrest or fine me, and then I would commit acts of retribution.
