Yes. An insane man would no longer be in power. Russian rulers are surrounded by sycophants, but power-hungry ones. They are not drones, and the ruler is not the queen ant. Russia is an Oriental despotism where the boyars have no issue knocking off the tsar. Especially if he might get not just them, but their entire country killed.

You know how the left caricatures the right, and the right caricatures the left? Same thing. IMHO, the rumors about Putin being insane are a bunch of hooey.
