On her MSNBC show on Saturday, Tiffany Cross suggested it is "hypocritical" for the US to condemn the potential use of chemical weapons by Russia in Ukraine—given that the police used tear gas on Black Lives Matter protesters. Cross:
"The United States is very much against chemical weapons. Yet, police use tear gas here, right here in America, which is considered a chemical weapon. And so, is this a bit hypocritical, perhaps? Because we've seen tear gas used, particularly during the Black Lives Matter protests?"

Liberals like Tiffany Cross are quick to condemn police using tear gas on BLM rioters, and equate them with Putin dropping highly lethal chemical weapons on defenseless people.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Breathtaking stupidity...
Yes, folks, MSNBC standards ARE that low.
Give me a break.
Condemning MSNBC for parroting Russian propaganda in three…two…one….
That’s some high level Jethro Bodine ciphering right there.
Can you get anymore IGNORANT than being on MSNBC???
Well, at least it is a chink in the Glorious NATO, Winston Zelenskyy, Putin, Putin, Putin western monolithic drum beat.
Or maybe show the idiot pictures of mustard gas victims.
You’d think black people would be like, “please shut up, you’re making us all look bad.”
Getting hit with CS gas is not the same as someone using liquid nerve, or liquid blister agents on people.
From personal experience, when going through Air Force basic training I had a massive sinus problems, congestion, the works when I was in the dorms; Cepacol that they give you at sick call doesn’t do shit. When we started week 4, Warrior Week, day one CBRNE, had to go through the gas chamber. Once my eyes stopped burning I realized that I could breathe again. CS is one hell of a decongestant.
Exactly. Equating tear gas, which typically wears off in 15-30 minutes, with the extremely lethal stuff in Russia’s arsenal, is a combo of ignorance, and the blame-America/blame-law enforcement attitudes of liberals like Cross.
It is no different than after 9/11, when the media claimed that the U.S was committing torture by waterboarding terrorists for information about future attacks.
The clearest proof that it was not torture was when reporters line up to try being waterboarded so they could write stories about how terrible it was. I don’t recall any reporters ever lining up to try having their fingernails pulled out, toes cut off, branded with red hot steel, or stretched on a rack.
You only they are put of talking points when they Trott out ignorant statements like that. Did none of their handlers take them aside and warn them how moronic they sound?
—in a rational world, this would get filed in the “how stupid can you get” file—
By this logic we should also ban all household chemicals that recommend wearing a mask. How dare you 3M for torturing people with your bleach products!
Cute girl. Dreadful analyst.
It Hitler and Lenin and Stalin were alive today, they would either be the heroes of the American left today, or would be hosting CNN and MSNBC shows.
