Brian Craig, co-host of the Steve Kane Radio Show (6-9 AM ET weekdays on 1470 WWNN Radio) used deductive reasoning ala Sherlock Holmes on the May 10 show to possibly figure out the reason for the baby formula shortage. Could he be right? Well, if there is at least one intrepid reporter out there who wants to go beyond merely acting as a stenographer for the Democrats and ASK government officials about this perhaps we can find out. And if Brian proves to be right, in a just world he would deserve a Pulitizer prize. That probably won't happen because these days Pulitizers are handed out to reporters reciting Democrat talking points on such stories as the fake news Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy theory that was ultimately debunked by the Mueller Report.

There’s the liquid pre-made and the powdered kind. The powdered kind is cheaper. But not all babies can have it.
The shortage is only with the liquid pre-made, not the powdered.
And what I think, this is must my suspicion. I believe the federal government has bought up mass amounts for the illegals at the southern border who are coming over by the hundreds of thousands’
He said he thinks maybe the federal government bought up all the liquid formula for the illegals invading the border.
He thinks the government bought up the liquid baby formula for the illegals because there is no shortage for the powder
Can’t view the video right now, but this media hysteria always fails to mention that the baby formula “crisis” has been going on for quite awhile, and one of the reasons formula is kept under lock and key in stores is because our friends the drug dealers like to use it to cut their “product.”
He basically says that there’s no shortage of powdered formula, just the pre-mixed liquid kind, and speculates that the liquid canned kind is being sent to the border and to illegals who are coming with babies because they don’t have the capacity to mix it with water in those situations. He is wondering if the government has bought up the ready made kind and is distributing it to illegals instead of letting legal hard working Americans buy it for their children.
It’s a good theory. I badly transcribed the first few minutes of it above. There’s a lot more video after he says all that.
He got me to thinking though.
Now I have another theory to posit;

So let me ask this. What if FEMA bought a bunch of it up for shelter supplies?
Well, there may now be a shortage of the powdered versions because the liquid has been bought up.
From the very limited video I've seen of those pouring across the southern border, few are infants. Now there may be tons coming right thru the open gates.
