Back in 2007, Beto O'Rourke was just starting out in politics as an El Paso city council member. His primary "accomplishment" was to basically sell out the residents of El Segundo Barrio in that city by supporting a plan that would displace the residents so that his billionaire father-in-law, Bill Sanders, could redevelop the area. Here we see residents of El Segundo Barrio expressing anger at the prospect of losing their homes so Beto's father-in-law could go ahead with this development project. Oh, and they had Beto pegged right as a lackey willing to do the bidding of his father-in-law.
PING!
Kaitlin Bennett: What do you think of Robert Francis O'Rourke?
College students: WHO???
“Beto” (which is a Spanish nickname for “Roberto”) O’Rourke is an authentic Mexican like Taco Bell is authentic Mexican cuisine.
“What do you think of Robert Francis O’Rourke?”
A gift from Ireland.
Beato looks greasy, like a used-car salesman. But with less believability...
