Justin Trudeau does not only looks like Dad but as the increasingly authoritarian Prime Minister of Canada he is acting more like dad. His recent acts in controlling the lives of his citizens to the extent of even confiscating their property and shutting down their bank accounts is him lovingly following in Dad's footsteps.

I have friends in Canada and they are miserable. Since covid, they are constantly being locked down and threatened. I don’t know how the evil little twerp got elected that last time. Lots of stupid people up there, too, I suppose.

His liberals with the NDP and Green's partnership have the "majority" that enbales Justine Castreau et al.
The intersting thing is 8 or 10 provinces have conservative Premiers. Yet where "seats" are elected that gives a Prime Minister his/her/it majority, Quebec, Ontario and perhaos BC have them vs lesser populated provinces.
I used to respect their mounties, but the mounties steal your firewood and gas cans in the winter. Their customs agents are sneaky. I just don’t trust Canadian government people.
