"There never was a good war or a bad peace," wrote Ben Franklin at the end of the American Revolution. But that depends on the war-makers and the causes for which they fight.
Six months into the war in Ukraine, launched by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Feb. 24, when he could not get the U.S. or Kiev to rule out admission of Ukraine to a NATO alliance aimed against Russia, who appear to be the winners and who the losers?

Gazprom pays Ukraine a billion US$ per year in gas transit fees. The European Union wants to cut its dependency on Russian gas, and stop all Russian gas imports by 2030.
Where is Ukraine going to get the money when the EU no longer buys Russian gas?
“Where is Ukraine going to get the money when the EU no longer buys Russian gas?”
The breakaway republics seized by Russia contain huge, recently discovered reserves of oil and gas. Part of Russia’s reason for seizing them was to hold onto their monopoly and to knock out competition.
There are more facets to this war than the most complicated diamond ever cut. What we see in the media would be like reading the first paragraph of “War and Peace” and thinking we understand it all now.
This war could’ve been ended by a negotiated peace a long time ago. Obviously there’s too much money to be made.
Sure. All Russia had to do was agree to return to the status quo before they invaded.
Or, alternatively, all Ukraine had to do was agree to let Russia take over a quarter of its territory, and give up its national sovereignty.
See... Negotiations are so easy when you are not the party giving up anything.
There's your first mistake Pat.
Winners: Globalists and their sycophants. Losers: Everyone else.
This added to what you have mentioned:
“The interesting information is that while Russia “only” occupies 20 % of the territory of the Ukraine, 80 % of the value Ukraine creates are created on those 20 %, where most of the natural resources, the industry and the fertile soil for wheat production is located. The number goes up to 95 % should Russia capture Odessa as well.

Exactly.
Don't know who the Winner will be, however I can predict the Big Losers will be:
The Legacy American People, Law Abiding, Self Sufficient, Productive Citizens ...
The United States Constitution, The Constitutional Representative Republic, The Rule of Law, Equal Opportunity Under The Law, Due Process Of Law ...
Normality ...
Other than that, things will be Mob Rule fine!
Those of us who supported Trump’s fight to get Europe to quit trusting and depending on Russia, who supported Trump’s fight to strengthen and raise spending for NATO and move American NATO forces closer to the Russian threat, and who supported Trump’s improving our nuclear defenses and weapons, and Trump’s fight against the European Greens, win.
The anti-Trump, anti-NATO, anti-European disentanglement with Russian energy, and anti-coal/anti-nuke, pro-Russia crowd lose.
++The Legacy American People++
I’ve been using the phrase ‘core Americans’, I will be glad when we come up with some good terms for the American nation people who are being replaced.
Core Americans is a good description.
The important point is Yes, as you say, we need to have an easily understood descriptive phrase for the Independent, Self Sufficient American People and Pioneers who made America Great by supporting the Constitution, Equality under the Law and Justice For All, by hard work.
We must take back control of the Language from the Prog Socialist Left, so we can speak to and support one another in Making America Great Again.
Yep; only Russian sources are truthful - as they have always been going back to Stalin.
