the problem with the oz fetterman reference in the article is that the suggestion is that it was about personalities. It was not.
It was about ballots. Brain dead Fetterman won because the democrats had a better balloting system—ie ballot harvesting system— than the republicans. The republicans didn’t ballot harvest at all.
That’s why Trumps announcement that he’s all in for ballot harvesting is the most significant news of the 2024 campaign so far.
4 years of him- then 8 years of the younger Desantis- for a total of 12 years of solid conservative leadership? You betcha it’s worth it
[[The republicans didn’t ballot harvest at all.]]
Exactly- liberals hit up old folks homes- and ‘help’ the older folks fill out ballots- which of course will end up being for liberal candidates only most likely- there doesn’t seem to be any accountability- so who knows how many older folk’s votes got changed because they were ‘helped’ by the harvesters?
That is correct so long as we follow through and actually ballot harvest.
That's one way to end ballot harvesting once and for all. If the Republicans can figure a way to do it better, the Democrats will be hollering to put a stop to it.
I worked on the 2016 & 2020 Campaigns - President Trump has zero chance of winning in 2024. It is time to move on.
fake news with an agenda.......................
The answer to the headline question is yes, if it’s Trump 2.0 in 2024. And by that I mean a Trump who has learned from his mistakes.
This is not an attack on Trump. It is instead a wish. Trump did not spend decades in the DC swamp. So it’s to be expected that he would sometimes zig when he should have zagged.
The question is, did he learn from those mistakes? We shall see.
This ballot harvesting/cheating has going on for years, in fact, almost a decade. When do you suppose Ronna McDaniels and the rest of the Republicans will wake up and get a clue? To his shame, even Trump proved woefully unprepared for the 2020 post-election slugfest that everyone, and I mean everyone, knew was coming.
It was farcically tragic that no Republican seemed prepared for ballot harvesting and the Zuckerbucks shenanigans that were happening as a slow-motion trainwreck in 2020. And again, asleep and snookered in the 2022 midterms. I wholly doubt anything at all will change for 2024. There will be a lot of post-election ranting, but as usual, it will all be Republican's fault for not make the determination to not wise up.
It's naive to think that they won't steal the election from your candidate like they stole the election from Trump.
If they can stop trump they will come after everyone else just as hard. Trump is the only thing between the massive media smear with FBI raids and all the other republican candidates. If he falls the rest will fall.
What is the next tough fight we would would back away from? As long as the ‘Rat party has Joe’s “greatest voter fraud organization in history,” Republicans lose, anyway. They were able to build that fraud machine because Republicans historically always backed away from a tough fight. We need to stop doing that.
Yes, ballot harvesting is a problem. But the Oz/Fetterman race really was about personalities to a large extent. Oz was a terrible candidate, a Hollywood carpetbagger who looked silly and awkward in his TV ads.
On the other hand, Fetterman’s ads were quite good. He came across as your average Joe Sixpack, the kind of guy you work with down at the mill. That’s not true, of course. But lots of people bought it.
Trump will win the nomination. I don’t see how he will not. He has the biggest base of any Republican since Reagan (even bigger than Ronaldus Magnus). You can’t buy that and he would do well to focus on the general and stay out of the weeds, but he won’t.
However, there are some points in this article that I believe Trump needs to address and he has not.
I am a “safe vote” but too many people are ignoring the elephant in the room. As bad as the “Summer of Love” was (and it hurt him) it pales in comparison to what happened after he turned over his Presidency to Fauci and by doing so we all lost in 2020. It has legitimately costs me several thousand dollars per month with this administration.
He is still proud of Warp Speed. Damn the torpedoes and move the bureaucracy to get the shots but too many forget that the same big pharma companies he moved heaven and earth for paid him back by holding the release until AFTER the election (it had an impact).
Furthermore, for a guy who bragged about saving taxpayers a few hundred million with the Jerusalem embassy or the new Air Force 1 can anyone explain to me what kind of deal it is where Pfizer and Moderna arrange for the taxpayers to purchase their product and they make tens of billions in profit. It happened because of Trump and “we” even owned part of the technology? Not exactly a good deal for the taxpayers was it?
We even did their advertising for them and in some cases mandated the use of the product (military for example) so that increased their profit margin that much more!
I would respect him more if he just admitted that he got played, we got played, and he promised to make real changes to prevent this from ever happening again. That is a message I could support, but even if I am a “safe vote” his inability to address this irks me and I fully expect that the left will blame him for the vaccine problems. I know others disagree, but look what they did to kick him out of office? They eat their own when its politically expedient (ask Andrew Cuomo).
It cost him his reelection and it may well cost him again because SOMEBODY is going to be blamed for the failed shot and we are talking about a guy who just got blamed for a train derailment two years after he left office.
Fauci will blame Trump. Birx will blame Trump. A few of the backstabbers in his own WH will blame Trump. I would even bet the big pharma executives will blame Trump. We already know the media will blame him.
This is going to be the #1 issue going into 2024. The “economy” situation benefits Trump, but the media won’t really cover it. They will cover the failed vaccine.
He needs to address it honestly because there will be a narrative and if he continues to ignore it you can bet it won’t be a good narrative for him. There are over a dozen high level studies underway now in 1st world countries that will not only show that the shots failed, but they will show that the shots made it worse and even caused death.
Our media won’t be able to ignore the elephant in the room so they will shift like always to use it against Trump. The bureaucracy and corporate America will fall in line as always. Trump has no margin for error and the sooner he tackles this the better because they are writing the script as we speak. Bet on it.
The longer he is silent the more they will blame him. Better to make your enemies react to you and defend the current narrative than to remain silent and write a new narrative. That is what Sun Tzu would do Mr. President.
I am voting for Trump even if its a write in. If he loses, I stop voting. I don’t vote for republicans anymore. I vote for good republicans. Or I don’t vote. I will no longer support swamp creatures just because they are republican swamp creatures.
I sometimes wonder if he said he’s for ballot harvesting to get Democrats to say they are against it. 🙂
“...then 8 years of the younger Desantiss...”
You made a mistake in logic when you said, “the younger DeSantis” because you don’t think that DeSantis can’t stand on his own unless coupled with the enhancer “younger.”
Adam Schiff is also younger, but does that make him a stellar candidate.
Maybe if DeSantis gets, in he can resurrect TPP, an Asian trade organization that does away with American sovereignty. He voted for the bill before.
It’s naive to think that they won’t steal the election from your candidate like they stole the election from Trump.
This x 1000
Warts and all, Trump is the best chance we have because he can at least point to a happier time prior to Fauci.
He will be the nominee. His base is HUGE and GOP voters don’t usually vote heavily in the primaries. Those who are announcing are jockeying for cabinet positions and the VP slot - just watch. A few will run to criticize Trump but they won’t go anywhere other than on CNN or MSNBC after they drop out.
In fact, Trump is probably the only one with a base that can ballot harvest. Do you see tens of thousands of “volunteers” spending their weekend knocking on doors for anyone else? Me either.
The Republicans were in on the ballot harvesting and fraud, for the benefit of the left. Why would they suddenly switch sides? Never mind how fraud deniers on here are just fine with the subversion of the electoral system.
