One theory is to hold Bakhmut until the offensive begins and then let them have it.

Looks to me like another Deep State Joint f’cking up another country in their plans to take over the world.

I wonder… if Trump was able to beat the next steel, would all these NATO countries be left holding their dicks in the wind? Probably one of his first actions would be to pull out of NATO, or at least severely defund it.

Nah. They’d kill him first.

Dmitri @wartranslated

A lot of people aren’t really familiar with (recently killed Russian military correspondent Vladlen) Tatarskiy. Unfortunately, I know quite a bit about him since I’ve been following his channel for a while now. But a quick rundown of what he was doing during the war:

- Participated in the Donbas war since 2014.
- A criminal, was in prison for bank robbery.
- A self-proclaimed “writer” (I haven’t read anything).
- Since Feb 2022, been on and off in the Donbas, often traveling back to Russia.
- Definitely felt very comfortable in the war.
- Had a sizeable TG following, was posting “Evening Vladlen” summaries to his channel every night, in addition to opinions and suggestions.
- Close associate with a number of Rascists, including RSOTM admin (Wagner group). He was indeed very close with Wagner.
- In recent months, began hosting an irregular show on Solovyev’s channel together with the creator of Rybar.
- Essentially, he was a minor superstar in the z-world, everyone knows him. While his death may not trigger a physical response, it will have a massive effect on the Russians. It already does.

“Make no mistake, in my list of top 3 most despicable nazi bastards, “Vladlen” was in a solid third spot.

If your curious, first is (Igor) Girkin (”Strelkov” on Telegram), second is (special correspondent for Izvestia, Alexander) Sladkov.”

“Investigators skeptical of yacht’s role in Nord Stream bombing”

“After saboteurs severely damaged the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines last September, German officials zeroed in on a rented sailboat that appeared to have taken part in planting explosive devices deep below the surface of the Baltic Sea.

But after months of investigation, law enforcement officials now suspect that the 50-foot yacht, the Andromeda, was probably not the only vessel used in the audacious attack. They also say the boat may have been a decoy, put to sea to distract from the true perpetrators, who remain at large, according to officials with knowledge of an investigation led by Germany’s attorney general. They spoke on the condition of anonymity to share details about the active inquiry, including doubts about the Andromeda’s role that haven’t been previously reported.

Officials hope that the true purpose of Andromeda in the deep-sea demolition will provide further insight in a high-stakes, international whodunnit that could eventually lead to those responsible and explain their motives, which remain unclear.

U.S. and European officials said they still don’t know for sure who is behind the underwater attack. But several said they shared German skepticism that a crew of six people on one sailboat laid the hundreds of pounds of explosives that disabled Nord Stream 1 and part of Nord Stream 2, a newer set of pipelines that wasn’t yet delivering gas to customers.”

Kyiv Independent reports:

“German armsmaker Rheinmetall is building a service center for Western military equipment used by Ukraine’s Armed Forces in Romania, Reuters reported, citing the company.

The construction works are underway in the Romanian city of Satu Mare, close to the border with Ukraine, with the hub expected to be open already this month, according to Rheinmetall’s spokesperson.

“The service hub should play a central role in maintaining the operational readiness of western combat systems in use in Ukraine and ensuring the availability of logistical support,” the spokesperson said, as cited by Reuters.

The hub will reportedly service self-propelled howitzers, Leopard 2 and Challenger tanks, Marder infantry fighting vehicles, Fuchs armored transport vehicles, and military trucks...

Rheinmetall set up a similar service center in the Lithuanian city of Jonava to repair NATO vehicles.”

OilPrice.com reports (https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/Russian-Urals-Oil-Price-Averaged-4785-A-Barrel-In-March.html):

“The price of Russia’s flagship Urals crude grade averaged $47.85 per barrel in March, nearly two times lower than in March 2022, when it averaged $89.05 a barrel, the Russian Finance Ministry said on Monday.

In the first three months of 2023, the price of Urals averaged $48.92 per barrel, down from $88.95 a barrel in the same period of 2022, according to official Russian data...

Russian tax revenue from crude oil and petroleum products plummeted by 48% in February from a year earlier due to the much lower price of Russia’s flagship crude grade after the EU banned imports of Russian oil, according to Bloomberg estimates based on official Russian data.

Russia announced on Sunday that its cut of 500,000 barrels per day (bpd) – initially only for March and then rolled over through June – would now extend until the end of 2023.

China’s Economic Rebound Stutters

“The March reading of China’s purchasing managers’ index fell to a neutral level from a month earlier, suggesting the rebound following the Covid restrictions may not be as smooth and linear as hoped.

The Caixin reading of the country’s PMI stood at around 50 last month, down from 51.6 in February. The official PMI reading, released at the end of last week, also marked a decline, from 52.6 in February to 51.9 in March.

“In a nutshell, the economy saw a marginal slowdown of recovery in March as the expansion in both manufacturing supply and demand significantly weakened from the previous month,” a Caixin Insight Group economist told the Wall Street Journal.”

Russian Crybar is worried about Zaporizhia:

On the readiness of the AFU for a large-scale offensive
situation.

In the Zaporizhia direcion, AFU preparations for the previously announced offensive are coming to an end. At the training grounds, the intensity of training and coordination of personnel has increased.

Training of assault and reconnaissance groups takes place both day and night. Near Primorske, a HIMARS MLRS position has been equipped for conducting aimed fire at rear facilities of the Russian Armed Forces in Zaporizhia region.

In the Vasylika sector, units of the 128th mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces are preparing to resume attacks on Russian positions.

In the Orikhiv sector, foreign-trained assault units are expected to arrive.

Several detachments of an unidentified unit of the AFU were deployed from the Soledar direction to Orikhiv. From these detachments, assault units with experience in urban combat were created.

Along the entire line of contact from Kherson Region to the DPR, there is an accumulation of men and equipment. The AFU can become more active in several directions at any moment, as Western countries urge Ukraine to attack.

At the moment, fighters from the field (Kherson and Zaporizhzhya directions) confirm that they are on full alert in connection with the possible start of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
